Well looking at that the wear is pretty good front to back, would have expected the rear to be alot worse than the fronts.

Is the server up? The server was already up, but I've just restarted it in case there had been an issue (as you were asking).

Thanks mate! Should be attempting it in circa 30 mins! EDIT: many hours later, got the lobby working! Missed the post about the Host Hack after all that. Reinstalled and it all worked. Back to spinning the 935

Good point Purdie and my apologies. I should have continued with the lobby message. I'll add it to the announcement now.

The 935 is pointless had another go to see if i could get it any faster and after 5 laps the rear left was at 16.1 ( think this needs sorting before we use it)

LOL I also think the 935 is pointless. Perhaps if I could get it round the 2nd corner and do a proper lap..... Turbo Beemer is almost as much of a hooligan, managed to get it round tentatively several seconds faster than the G5 variant, didn't try the 934.

Ok gents, I hear you. I'll turn off tyre wear for tomorrow night. Then we'll see if the Mod creators answer my pm and/or we decide what course to take for the rest of the season. After some more dabbling I think I've been able to get the tyre wear down some more but I have to get the Mod creators go ahead to change his data. Or we run the series with tyre wear off

Cheers for that... don't suppose you could also make the brakes work? I am braking about 20 yards before the first brake board....They had brakes, I checked the history! (4 secs off the F1 cars of the 70's round Silverstone apparently!!! ) I've driven a 930 turbo before round Spa and that stopped!

lol Purdie, I thought the same as I sailed past the hairpin and into the run off at 80 mph every lap! Especially the 934, never managed a single lap without multiple offs, how can it be so awful to drive? Then tried the 935 and managed a single almost-clean lap (out of 7 or so) just below 1:50. Then the tyres went molten. Think I'll give tonight a miss, need far more practice with these beasts, tonight would be a crash fest for me. Shame about the 935 tyre issues, hope it gets sorted, this is a superb idea for a series Tony

I have just done a few laps with 935. I believe that the tire wear displayed haven't the right consequence to the tires (at least as the same way as for another cars at GTL). After a few laps practice the tire wear was on ~10 but I wasn't feeling any lack of grip for the value, as it used to be on another cars. Anyone checked this or had the same experience? One thing for sure is that I hate don't like ( hi Mark ) to drive 911, but I really love to drive 935. Very easy to mantain it at full power exiting corners, easier than the CSL Turbo in fact. Much more predictable as I thought and very easy to grab it on the limits unlike 911. Now I'm terrible sorry for the CSL, but I might trade it for the 935...I wonder if it can forgive me...

I love the 935 too I agree the tyre wear doesn't seem to have a huge effect, I should drive the thing for a few laps more but I keep crashing it. Still don't understand how people say its easy under full power, the turbo lag is terrible My plans for this evening have just been changed for me... so wont be able to get back in time for this now

The turbo lag on the 935 (and the CSL turbo for that matter) is pretty violent. The only way I cope with it is to keep it off the turbo coming out of the corners until I straighten up , even so it still catches me out. Good fun on the faster corners and the straight bits though It's either the 935 or the non turbo CSL for me depending on how the grid looks. Hockenheim is a difficult track for these cars. The tracks Tony has lined up are a totally different story and I can see this being a very popular series
