UKGPL Season 18 - Inter-League Race - Mexico City

Please Note: The logistics involved in organizing an Inter League race are more complicated than for a regular league race.  Particularly when different time zones are involved.  Consequently the details above are liable to change.  Please will all drivers check this thread regularly to make sure they don't miss any important updates.

I should be available for this one too if there is a vacant place. Brabham or Cooper preferred. Smiley

I've almost completely forgotten about this in the mass of work I've had, so apologies for not posting a car-to-drive list. If it makes sense, consistency is key, so ideally the same cars people have raced unless they want to change it.

To be fair, neither did I until yesterday. Smiley

Eagle's fine for yourself.

John, you're welcome to the Brab.

List is something like this:

Lotus 49: Jethro Walters
Eagle Weslake: Clive Gardner (evilclive)
Ferrari 312: Tim Muttram
Brabham BT24: John Roberts
Honda RA300: Hristo Itchov
Cooper T81: Fulvio Policardi
Cooper T81: Al Heller
BRM P115: vacant
BRM P115: vacant

If you're not happy with the car, let me know and I'll see about shuffling things.

Mexico is the Papy track, so I'd hope we can get all (or most) cars to the finish and in good speed.

The Interleague after this is at Rouen, and same applies. Smiley

Sent an email to Petteri Kantokari at Trellet a couple of days ago to remind them of this race (they'd agreed the date back in September).  Not had a reply yet but hopefully they haven't forgotten!  My Finnish is not to good so I can't understand their web site but I can't see a race thread in the public areas.

That does not sound too promising Phil. Undecided

If someone on their side has agreed a date,( even if it was back in September ) that is as much as you could have done. I guess we will have to turn up tomorrow and trust that the Trellet appear? Wink

Just had a reply from Petteri, he'd been away on holiday in Italy and unfortunately had forgotten about the race.  Too late for him to organize anything now so I'm afraid the race is off Sad.

He said he would have trouble raising a team anyway because they all run on 60fps now and his drivers were a bit reluctant to revert back to 36fps for the league race.

The spec race at Zeltweg is on tonight for those inter league drivers who need a GPL fix tonight devil
