For the first 4 laps on cold tyres I do have a very limited idea of what is happening. I did manage to save it when it got away on me as mentioned in my earlier race report. I'm not saying I'm some alien with super powers of senstivity, but I am ready for anything in those early laps and at a very much heightened state of awareness!!! I pretty much use Iain's technique of just feeding that little bit more in each lap, but we are talking about very small margins here.

I've made a small clip of the incident where it got away. You can see it was just as I started to re-apply the throttle, but I must have got back out of it just in time. First clip is from my cockpit, second is from Iain's.

Just wanted to let you know that the issue we had where Pete got placed at the front of the pacing line and PaulR got disqualified was a bug.

We weren't doing anything wrong Smiley

The bug has been identified and fixed apparently.
