Good turn out for pracci tonight and some very impressive laptimes from the full range of car choices. I'm low 37s in the Alfa Jr which should hopefully give me plenty of company come race time, although not challenging the front runners. That tight uphill left hander reminds me of the corkscrew but in reverse

Weather: Changeable, seeded from real-world conditions (hopefully with a pre-race forecast available on this thread at server start up time)p.s. before anyone gets in a panic, looking at the real world forecast, it's looking pretty steady at the moment & so the race forecast will reflect that (hopefully) [/color] It is possible to put the temperatures at -14° Celsius on GTR2?!?! If yes, I think that we'll need some termic Tyres to finish this race ... Legzy will provide to pay it for us . Really don't know what to expect by a race with the real conditions of the Terrifying Finnish winter It will be fun sliding around the track!! Cu later

It is possible to put the temperatures at -14° Celsius on GTR2?!?! Really don't know what to expect by a race with the real conditions of the Terrifying Finnish winter LOL Sadly I believe GTR2 only goes down to 10° Celsius... so don't expect too much ice You're tyres/engine/brakes will likely be a bit colder then if you've been practising in "dry" settings. But if like me, you've got overheating tyres, that could be a good thing! The real world forecast is still saying overcast & with minimal change expected... so anticipate a very similar "Race Forecast" to be released about 7:20pm.

A close battle last night Tudor.
I shall try not to kill you on the grid this week!
It promises to be a close race throughout, although I suspect there'll be lots of little red cars. Hats off to those who are able to coax fast times from the other choices.

Tonight's Official Race Weather Forecast:
Race Start: Overcast Early Conditions: Dry Mid Race Conditions: Rain Late Race Conditions: OvercastPlease remember, the forecast is not "exact"... but just like any forecast, it'll give you a good idea what to expect (this has been designed this way intentionally). I look forward to feedback on the use of H@L9000's forecast generator... not that "you don't like weather" Restarting server now...

The usual password isn't working It's our usual "race" password not the usual "practice" password. You can find it at the top of this screen, near the weather info.

Great to see some new faces aboard tonight, welcome I don't know why I always learn new track braking points by tyres marks as I'm always knacked if they change. They did in quali Took me a while to get there and chuffed to be rear gunner to Paul. Failed at that after a terrible start and Mike was past. Couldn't really settle in traffic and clipped Paul, sorry, and rather held up Mike. Sorry gents, I'll obey the team orders for the real stuff I promise Track was ok and lappees were excellent (although they had to rather unfairly ruin a lap to let anyone by :'(). I've expressed my views on funny weather elsewhere and that hasn't changed. Appreciate you efforts though Legzy, you'll get the weather balance right I'm sure. Very, very good match up between Z06 and 250 I thought. Roll on S2

Misunderstanding with an Alfa into the first corner, Tapped Mike up the bum under braking a few corners later, sorry for that. then spent most of the race following another Alfa, eventually after the rain the tyres were going a bit, lost it after the jump and bounced off the walls across the track right in front of Marco, sorry for the wildly bouncing tank I was trying very hard to keep it out of your way. After the damage from that dropped back into the sights of Legzy and PR, Legzy got past when I went off I think PR got up the inside when I went wide on the last lap. Good bit of fun I suppose, not a good car/track choice to me, least enjoyable P&G so far. Now, Goodwood.. there's a proper track

The real weather didn't seem to have any.
