I'm surprised you Minecraft drivers have any time to practice with all those zombies around when it goes dark....

Even though it's bad quality since I'm horrible at painting it still looks nice from a distance, I think  Grin

The Marc VDS team are horrible at painting too Cheesy

... as a fan of the team (it stems from them racing the Vertigo a few years back) I think it looks very nice Smiley

Hahaha I know, I'd been putting it off for days but finally got something done this avo - bit of a WIP, I still can't find those damn vents behind the arches. Probably best I concentrate on practice for a bit now though I reckon :0)

How do you guys view your cars btw - seems to be a right pain to get the camera angle I want to check stuff's lining up etc. I'm just driving about guessing where the cameras are placed roughly - am I missing something obvious??

CTRL-F10 (or maybe F12) gives you the ability to move the cameras.

Save a short replay on the centripetal circuit (seems to load quicker than others).  Put it in chase view and use CTRL-F12 to move the camera.

Ahh liking your thinking Brendan, thanks for that - I spent a lot of time buggering about with trying to look at it yesterday but that should do the trick.

While I'm asking dumb questions - I do have some others if somebody would be so kind...

1) Where is the vent grill thing just behind the front wheel arch on the Vette!? I've looked at the parts in the PSD and will be damned if I can see it. I've got a wedge shaped gap in the pattern along the side of the car the moment!

2) Any ideas why the paint on the rear wing main section isn't showing?? It's clearly there if you look at the TGA but doesn't come through on the car for some reason.

3) If somebody could point out the front splitter face in the PSD that would be handy too. I wish they labelled these things I really do!

The "parts" are overlaid on the tga - there's nothing you can do with that one I'm afraid.

What I used to do in the GPL days was create a skin which was a simple gradient from left to right.  I could then look at it applied to the car and get a pretty good idea of where each part was on the template from it's colour.
