Seems crystal clear to me.
Had to slam on my brakes to avoid hitting the stationary car in front of me Roll Eyes
Don't think that was me, but I was relatively slow off the line & the person behind gave me some encouragement Embarrassed... though I was away quicker then the person infront of me, who I avoided angel

Missed the first race to technical failure  :'(
Sorry you missed it Sandor Sad

Very pleased with my first outing for over a month and with minimal practice in the Daytona I am very pleased in what I achieved.  Smiley

Had a cracking race with Mike and Ian, damn those GT's have good grip!  Shocked I was having to rag the Daytona like I stole it!

With a bit more familiarisation and praccy I could have made some setup changes but overall very happy!  Grin

Plus Ossie and myself are now on a different shift pattern for a while so hopefully more races can be forthcoming.  Cool

Just 45 minutes before race I had a problem with my G25 wheel and had a strange issue with the button assignment
Checked my settings of the wheel and somehow when I want to change a button (break, gas, clutch, whateven) and I click it with my mouse , the button is inmediately assigned to my left mouse button  Angry Click another button and that one is assigned to the left mouse button.
Strange.. have you tried using the enter button 'open'th button selection? Will try tomorrow.

Great race. Could hold a reasonable pace and was entertained by several spinners  Grin

That was a tad more hectic than last night  Grin
Used same setup, but car felt very different, just the driver I guess. Maybe it's because I run race setup with full fuel
in qual, but 1st couple of laps I fell off 3 times trying to avoid people being cautious, where my car is just as it wasand was used to it. Got shoved towards the grass at T1, but stayed on the track, PR sneaked past, but was looking like a good race.
Had some tussles with Keith and Tinman, fell off avoiding Keith, and then tapped him next attempt
to get close, I waited and lost 3 more places so hopefully justice was seen to be done. Then it was catch Ade
touch the kerb in Lavant corner and spin, catch Ade touch kerb in Lavant, spin....etc... eventually he fell off in
Madgwick through laughing too much, and I slipped by for 5th. Good win SBG, and grats for pole Legz, you gotta fix
that "feature"

p.s
Clive and SImon.. where did you leave Colin?

A brilliantly fun return to P&G for me  Grin Missed the chance to take the L72 last time I took part (drove the even more wayward 250C instead at Westwood Roll Eyes) so it was the obvious choice for me.

Suprised myself in practice - the last time I saw the timings I'd manhandled it upto 9th! Shocked
In an even greater suprise I qualified there too  Cool
Nearly missed the start as I'd forgotten how P&G/GTR2 works online but joined the grid just in time.
Good start but threw it all away when Corvette suprised me and I span in St Mary's. Luckily I ended up on the grass verge on the inside and don't think I involved anyone else beyond slowing the field a bit....

Fought my way back up the field, made the odd mistake, fought my way back up again and then found myself in a battle with Blunder - who'd repassed me while I was grasscutting.
Massive appologies for hitting you when you span in St. Marys, but didn't know which way your car would go and just didn't stop in time  Sad

After this I had quite a fight with first Wiltshire Tony in the other remaining L72 (Great side-by-side battling there Smiley ) and then a longer Fight with Alex Vv in his 289 Cobra.

Having finally pulled clear of Alex I clung on and steadily pulled away only to be lapped by Ian with one lap to go  hammer

It's been a while so I hope I was driving cleanly/fairly in my tank  ninja

Congrats to the winners and finishers  thumbup1

I assume Ian will go on to win, so congrats to you mate... but I'm sure you know who was going to get that one (Paul knew it & bottled it) Wink laugh

If I knew you were on that pace I'd have bottled it as well  Wink Great pace there.

Sorry Tudor but that starting "feature" renders that track too dangerous to use (you might be glad to hear that Smiley) for me. I guess there are plenty of other good, safer, options to go with.

Worked my way back nicely after getting swamped at start. That got me past Matt, who played a classic bluff by saying "pit in" Smiley, and, I thought, in a race long fight with Mike. He was all over me but I didn't push too hard in a bid to conserve me tyres and, more importantly, I am much better chasing rather than leading the way. Made a silly mistake and he was past but, sadly, he did the same a couple of laps later (I wanted to see his line through T1 were he had me well beaten), which left me with a comfortable-ish trip home. Think Mike had me beat (Legzy would have melted in 5 Wink ) in all honesty but I'll take it.

Nice to cyu again Matt and a good steady start for team KC. Lappees were great as that was undeniably tricky.

Comfortable 5th after about five laps when I suffered a screen freeze.

Just a tad fed up.

I finished 14th, first of the non-US muscle cars....whoo-frigin hoo  Roll Eyes  hats off to the other two non-US-muscle car glory hunter drivers on this great 'British' clubmens track  Wink
Whats next a tight twisty track surprisingly full of elans or alpines?, whistling cant wait  surrender

 hammer

bit of a contrast to the race last night. That one was all action, with a decent varied car grid. This one was a lone ranger, hope the yank cars fall off to give me some points/someone to race kind of affair.  sleep1 come on people use some imagination. People moaned about the tokens then in the very first race of the new season show exactly why it was tried !

B'ah ! Disgruntled.   laugh

It didn't seem to bother you when you took a fast car and won recently.

Really enjoyed that one, & if it hadn't been for some stupid errors early in the race, I might even have got the podium  Roll Eyes

I have made a slighty change in the rear springs setup and got a feeling that the Cobra was a bit slower
than last Wednesday's race here.
However, as I haven't done a serious mistake (against my three last race), I was able to finish in the podium.
For a moment I thought I would have another intense fight with Mike, this time with him pressuring me.
Unfortunately a late brake and a fight with my wheel to avoid spining, allowed him to pass me. Last lap Mike spun allowing me to get the 3rd place.
At the opposite side from previous race here, this time was a bit lonely.
Congrats Ian and Madd. Well done to all finishers and thank you all backmarkers, great job you have done!

Cheers
