That was fun but hard work.  eek  sweatdrop  My personal highlights were:-  Cool

New PB in qualifying - been using 1 flying lap qualifying in another league so with 3 laps of fuel I went for it.

Fastest racing lap beat my previous PB.

I finished, albeit, last on the track 4 laps behind the winner.

Never had a spin, majority of offs were minor caused by losing too much momentum lifting a moving off line to be overtaken - only 2 or 3 of them.

Like goldtop, I guess must try and tame the CSL Turbo for the next race with this car choice.

Grats to podium!  Totally forgot this race evening... Ah well, maybe next time. I like this track despite my brain hiccup, hopefully we race it some other time this season.

Its not up as a fix Tony  Sad they've  just  added in  the main download.
http://www.rfactorcentral.com/detail.cfm?ID=DRM-MOD
So it's just the download at the bottom of the page?

Yes Tony..V_1.0.7z

Edit.....Looks like you need V1.0 as well, I must have had V1.0 installed already and didn't notice.

So what's the deal with the 935 fix? Does it fix the tire wear rates to reasonable levels? Is it for GTR2 or rFactor? How many stops did you make last race Ade? I'd like to drive the 935, but not if I have to stop twice.

All good questions Mike.

I am going to study the rFactor fix tonight to gather any clues about what to change. I will be requiring volunteers to test my results. Watch this space.

Only did one stop halfway and that took the tyre wear up to 40+ I think i ended the race with 45 wear at the back not much lower at the front, will have to have a look at my  times and see how much  i lost when the rubber had gone.

Ade, (or any other willing volenteers) care to try this out for me?

Just put these two files into your Porsche 935 folder. Allow to overwrite existing files. It's ok, one of the files is a backup of the original so no permanent harm.

Once installed can you see what the tyre wear is like for the Porsche 935 please?

Right Tony... before the change F/L 2.0.... F/R 1.8     R/L 2.5  .... R/R 2.3

                   After the change   F/L 0.6 ... F/R 0.5     R/L  0.4 ...  R/R 0.4

That's just on one fast out lap...looks like that may be a bit low? (seeing how it uses half the fuel of the BMW turbo)  and the wear is the wrong way round front to rear.

If you can get it to  half the original wear it should be about right (but what do i know) wacko

Ill take it for a longer run in a race with the BMW turbo when i have time.

May of been me but it did feel like  it had a  bit less grip? ( just a little bit).

                                                                 Cheers Ade

Just one file as you still have the backup
