i call this race: Pitlane
don't know how ofter i was in there, nearly every lap. because this *** pitlane has a bug and give you always SnG. normally the limited zone is between the two light, but not there. it's longer. i tried to do all SnGs. guess they were 5? but one i missed and DQ. lol
count it and i got 6x SnG and was 7x in pit (5x SnG, 1x repair, 1x for nothing) lol

It was very disapointing and frustrating Henry. I had the same issues. It was a pleasure to be in the race dedicated to Laurie. Had almost 20 laps of close and hard fighting with Ian and Navin, great driving guys. At lap 5 my front left tire was already in red mode. When I pitted at lap 19 front tire wear was at 18, so I changed al four tires and then began the ***** S&G joke. I entered pits in 1st place with Navin glued to me and got a few S&G, each time I exit pits. First time I thought I had failed the pit entrance, but now I am sure that was the silly bug... A brilliant track tho, shame the damn bug. I hope you guys had fun. Cheers

Great racing PR and Navin Hard lines PR/Henry and congrats to Navin and Tudor. I'll have to join you folks again. Dusted off the GTL CD after hearing the sad news and I'm sure Laurie would have nodded approvingly at the fun I had, what a pleasant suprise. A very fitting and touching tribute I thought. Thanks Tony.

First off I'd like to say good man to Tony for doing a slow 1st lap in honor of your fallen compatriot LigelC. Second, I'd like to dedicate this win to LigelC. As far as the race goes once again Paulo and myself were dancing partners for a good portion of the race. We can't seem to get away from each other . Nice clean laps mate. Couldn't really get by clean. I think Ginsters may of had a lag problem early in the race and dropped back just a bit, but I knew he would be making a charge once it cleared up. And so he did after Paulo pitted Ginsters was like 4 seconds back chipping away at my lead. So I just drove as hard as I could without abusing the car and was lucky enough to bag a win at my hometown track. Congrats to Ginsters for a solid second place finish and Goldtop for making the podium. Sears is not an easy place to race so good job to all the finishers.

Marco, what happened Paulo and Henry, sorry mate's but I tested the pitlane pre-season (I always do) and didn't find the bug. Thanks to Goldtop for sorting us out a cracking race with a great car combination. Any more of those up your sleeve? And why did I get DQ'd?

Bad luck Henry and Paulo with that pit bug. I guess that's why we always use these new tracks for fun races to discover these things before we use them in champ races. A shame 'cause it's a mighty circuit. One of the most demanding races I've done for sheer concentration and physical effort. I even lowered the ffb from my usual setting but was still shattered by the end. Had a nice race long battle with Ade in the team KC car. My heavier whale wing 911 seemed to have more grunt, but was less nimble making it a good contest. Congrats to Navin and Ian and thanks again to Tony for putting this one on. For Laurie

Was having fun dicing with Goldie, when i changed down twice into 1st instead of 2nd and spun into a wall smashing off the spitter, made it even more understeery, and didn;t get round T1 after a few laps and flew off over the hills game over. Shame, was a great challening track much more interesting than the old Papyrus Nascar version. Respects to laurie...

It was good to see everyone there to pay their respects to Laurie.
It is a tough track, and I was feeling very tired after a long day at work so after a couple of spins I quit in frustration, I just didn't have the motivation to carry on.

Thanks Tony for dedicating this race to Laurie, hope he enjoyed watching it from above. Took the Escort as I hadn't driven it for ages. Didn't quite have the speed to stay with the Capris, Beemers & 911s, but enjoyed just thrashing round on my own. Always find the Escort quite tricky to drive, so was very happy to complete the race with no major mistakes. Congrats to Navin, Ginsters & Goldtop. RIP Laurie

Thanks Tony, Laurie would have appreciated that and I'm sure he watched and enjoyed it. I had a big off and had a long pit stop, Laurie always fought on to the end - sometimes making a number of stops.
I found out what some of you were complaining about, the ridiculous stop and go calls. At one stage I tried to pull over to the left (I was so far behind it just wasn't true) and climbed a bank on the outside of the track, a severe penalty - not an advantage gained and got a cut track warning. After a while I had a frame freeze on a fast part of the track with a return after about 4 secs totally unsettling the car (I'd taken my foot off the accelerator) causing me to have big accident and kill the car.
