Gah! Four laps to go, 4th place secure, bang! That WAS the accelerator pedal.

Now that is "used" Wondered why you were stuck in the fence.
I had a chance at 2nd but got wobbly when I 1st got up alongside Ade and ran out of laps.
Good season. Thanks Tony.

Having a steady and consistent race in the Gr5 CSL until pitstop time. Pulled in and coasted slowly to a halt and......nothing. Went back and fore trying to wake up my dozey pitman and still nothing. Went out again and in my hurry misjudged the pit entry and smacked into the tyres. Lost interest and hit esc shouting various obscenities at my screen. VERY annoying.

Looked like it was shaping up for a close finish to the series.

I saw you trying gt - I was in the pits behind you.  I had a spate of that and found out if you're on the man's toes - he takes the huff.  I now go further away from him - not immediately under his outstretched hand.  It's worked to date, try it in an offline quick race, this where I practice my pits stops.  Not that it did any good last night, I was absolute parc.  Monday, on my own - no witnesses - I was able to put in consistent laps around the 1:09 for 25 laps last night I was inconsistent.  I kept running too deep into the corner and couldn't get the power on early, only in the mid  part of the second stint (after the pit stop) did I manage a few laps with comparable times.

Screwed up my start with a spin into the Armco, despite practice starts and then stalled the engine at the pit entry - luckily no one wanted to use it.

A night best forgotten.

Now then....as Peter Sellers would say in one of his lovelys Inpector Clouseau personage.

Was quite confident with the 3rd spot on grid, even more when I got the 1st place before T1,
then....noone in front and my eyes stucked at the mirror to watch what happened to the front row drivers.
When I remembered that I had to brake, it was a bit late and spun... Roll Eyes
Don't really remember at what position I carry on, but I guess it was at the front and ran in first position with Sqter pressure untill I went to pits to put full fuel tank and change all the tires at lap 4  Shocked
Yep, I started race with fuel for 4 laps.  stupid
Later on, two cars spun at the first corner and I couldn't avoid one of them returning to the track.
No need to say that I had to pit once more, this time only for tire change.
Crazy race, yet very enjoyable.
There were very gentleman driving last night, you know who you are, cheers for both.

Unlucky Phil, I hope you fix the pedal soon to have you on track next race.

Congrats to Sqter, Ade and Matt and to all fionishers.

Congrats to KC for team's tittle.

Thank you Tony, your work was amazing and 99.9% perfect.  Wink

Cheers

Dam I didn't get 100%  Angry

A mostly enjoyable series I thought and certainly was a closely fought battle for the top 3 places.

I liked the history aspect but can understand if it didn't grab people with the same enthusiasm.

Tough one to pull off in hindsight as it showed, as in real life, that as soon as the turbo's turned up, everything was going to change.

Not a problem with the other two PEPLI-race era's I would like to run sometime.

Huge thanks to everyone who stuck with it.

Cheers

Tony
