I might skip this one. I can't drive it. I spun two, three times at each lap.
Quite frustrating to be honest.  Roll Eyes

Paulo, are you using the plr patcher that came packed with PnG? It makes a massive difference to the feel.

I've just discovered that although I thought I've been using it for the last 6 months, in fact I wasn't because I hadn't run the exe properly. Roll Eyes It's worth checking, because I could never see what all the fuss was about the IROC until just now and was completely useless in it.

OMG, I haven't done that untill now Goldtop. I can't believe I can drive it now.  Shocked
Thanks for the tip mate.  Wink

I understand what you mean Mark, it helps. Thank you.  Smiley
Persevere Paulo, you have to make it dance with the throttle, its not one of those lumbering monsters you like driving like the Jag Mk2  Wink  Grin

What's the lowdown on the tyres?

They are not in the manual.  Sad

Wink That pesky Ian was doing low 1.36's tonight, my pb after 10 laps or so a high 1.37. more practice required for me I think!

You should worry!  Low 38s here and not a clue what to do next.

Clive, you should find the tyre detail in version 2 of the TYRE MANUAL which I have just download from this site

May not have the details for these cars as they were a bonus feature.

There should be some base and evo settings in your gtr2/png folder Bill.

See post #10 if you can't find them.....

You can have my setup Bill if you pm me your email address.  It's very much work in progress at the minute.

I found it very useful to watch Ian and Ade last night.

I also needed Ian to show me how to get onto the track.  Thanks Ian.

The first time I tried the game had plonked me in a pit bay that was on the second aisle and facing away from the track.  Thus I turned left and headed up the pit entry lane and got a DQ. Sad

The bias tyres seemed most popular.

I have version 2 of the tyre manual and there is nothing that I spotted about these tyres.
