I should hope so!  My first bike was a Royal Enfield Continental GT, my second was a Triton and I've still got a 750 Norton Commando in the garage (in bits unfortunately) so I'd be gutted if I had to put up with one of those hairdriers scooter

Count me in for this one, as the last was reaaly fun. As a T140 Bonnie owner I feel I really should be on Billy's team though most others seem to want to relive those leather clad days. Anyhow, I'll just be glad to race.
See you all there.

Line up so far
Jethro / Hristo / Maestro / Tussman / Fulvio / Bookie / Steve Bird / Evil / Happy Al /Al Hellar / Maddog / Ryeman / FMG / Phil Thornton /Nigel Smith
With me Vos that makes 17 - room for a couple more but don't hang about.

Last time I strategically selected my team based on racing ability & got wiped out. This time I'll make my selections based on leather jackets & musical taste - Keep on Rocking.

OK we have;
Jethro / Hristo / Maestro / Tussman / Fulvio / Bookie / Steve Bird / Evil / Happy Al /Al Hellar / Maddog / Ryeman / FMG / Phil Thornton / Nigel Smith / Billy / Vosblod / Bernie / Fabio / Bernie ie 20. Allowing for someone not being able to make it we have a full house.
You can still post in case we get drivers dropping out.

Hi, I will not be at home Monday 15/2 at 9pm, I'll be at work so I will see how it went here?

BTW, My first bike was a BSA Lightning - 67 if it helps in any way, but my second was a Laverda SF 750 so I don't know, I mean if that one being Italian is kind of a Vespa or? well just a thought.

A Laverda SF 750 - wonder if anyone ever tried strapping the motor to a Vespa?  Talk about your ultimate ankle breaker . . !  Shocked

Confession time!!! Undecided

During the early years of my marriage, when we were skint, we ditched the old car we had and I bought a Vespa for £22!!!  Roll Eyes
It was a sporty 150cc version and despite being a heavy rock fan, it did us proud for a few years until my wife became so pregnant that she had to sit on the pillion backwards.
Then I bought a Hillman (L)Imp.....still not sure if that was an improvement??

I have also owned a couple of really dodgy bikes, so I guess I qualify for either team??? Huh

Well I'm a Vespa man  Grin
In '72 when I was 16 I had my first Vespa from my uncle, it was a '53 model 125 cc 3 gears low lamp. It had a increased carburetor cause my uncle was used to tow a little trail to carry the appliances he sold and fixed so he needed some more power, all that wasn't much legal  Roll Eyes , but the "thing", after have replaced the pretty worn clutch, could top 80 kmh  Shocked
After 20 years of heavy load by my uncle and 2 years of crazy use by me  angel the rod finally gave up  :'(
I worked hard all a summer and when I was 18 I bought a new flaming red Rally 200 Electronic with separate oil mixer and my mother gifted me of a black leather jacket  Cool
With them I rounded the Europe for several years, eventually after twenty years of service the electronic ignition cracked and I still haven't managed to repair it cause the lack of the replacement parts. She lays under a cover in my box together my youth.  Sad
When the Rally gave up my brother in law passed me his '82 PX 150 that he didn't use and she is still in good shape in my hands, but she can't compete with the Rally power...uhm...neither I  Grin

hi Baab

I think It should be OK for me to appoint you (unafficially) as 1st reserve, so turn up on the night in case theres a slot left open  Smiley

As for the team thing , my first motorised road transport was an Austin A35 van with hub caps removed , it sported wing mirrors and bucket seat ( the passenger seat was missing )

I cant class myself as ever being a Mod or a Rocker , more a troglodite than anything but since i dont fit into the above i will class myself as a 'Mocker'   Grin

I will leave any arguing to the team leaders    Roll Eyes
