Unless my eyes deceived me, Ian was on the server last night doing 2:45 in the Alpine.  At that rate he can stop for tea and sandwiches somewhere and still win.

Fantastic pace Ian.  thumbup1

Just spat me coffee out, no pressure then Clive Wink Anyways, I'm sure I will not be alone.

Before anyone panics, I was quicker in the Stang so the premise of this race stills stand.  There are so many imponderables here, the getting stuck behind a slower Stang nightmare, getting clattered by a teamy (hilarious race last night Smiley ) and the Ruskus/extreme alien factor to name a few, that I really hope anything can happen which would be fun.

LOL

Not to mention getting stuck behind a slower Alpine. Cheesy

Whilst I think of it, with Legzy “on the piste”, who is going to tell us what to race next week at Lakeside.  And for that matter, what/where the hell is Lakeside?

It's an Aussie track.  I've raced GTL here (Falcon and Alfa GTA) with my Antipodean colleagues and I'm pretty sure we've had a similar race here as well.

Queensland, Australia.  Grin

2.45s  Shocked, & I was misguided enough to think I might be competitive when I got into the 2.48s last night. Couldn't get on with the Mustang though, only 2.52 in that. How do you make it turn corners  Huh

Edit: Bill beat me, doh!

Tbh, I have done only 2 laps to see how the track layout was and I'm pretty sure that
you all are a bunch of  alien for the times I see on the previous posts. And Mr. SBG
is the supreme Comander of you all.  scared

Tried lots of laps in both cars, Mustang is loads more fun here for me, but I am much the same times as you MJ
I can manage 51 in Stang and 53 in ALpine, have managed a 52 one off. I think I am missing something here
I am slower than normal against my peers, maybe people are not all running full fuel for testing? that or I am
just not hooking up to a corner or two. Logic says I should run ALpine as I am rubbish at pit stops, fun factor
says take the Tank.

At roughly 2 seconds a lap off Ian's pace, I'm still learning the track. Very cool track, but it takes time to learn the braking points of all those corners.

Hi all!

Hope to join this race today. I read your encyclopedia of rules blink  and hope not to forget one of them later.

Hi Henry
Hope you manged to download the right track from Humyo ok?

As you may have gathered, tonights race is rather experimental in nature as my evil nemesis Dr Legzy  Wink has organised this cunning puzzler.

Who will win....the Trans Am with it's speed (but must pit at sometime) or the snail like Alpine which definately will not need to stop.
