I doubt it will put much of a dent in iRacing overall but it could impact what happens at SRouk.

I'd be surprised if the damage modelling in iR isn't massively improved by 2011 though but whether weather will be there is debatable (I suspect not).

Pitting is pretty much in place in iR isn't it? I'd agree that it's a bit clunky and could use some refinement.

Unless SimBin have gone back to serious physics modelling I can't see it's going to be any threat to iRacing at all.

Don't get me started. Cheesy  Though, to be accurate, pitting is ok. What bothers me is the damage model and that despite pitting, you can't continue as the car doesn't get repaired. Tow sucks.

Edit: it's interesting how sitting in the GTR2 car in the pits when the damage is being repaired (Hurry up, we're losing positions!) is different to iR (towing). While I fret at first position, I get bored in second and quit. Tongue  Ok, towing is longer but you get my meaning... Tongue

I agree with you TT, it's the damage modelling that needs to be implemented properly though, so repairs can be implemented when pitting, rather than fixing pitting, if you see what I mean...

DLC = Downloadable Content

They release extra bits to the initial game, and usually charge for it. Simbin have already been down this route with the 'Race' series.

We've already found with iRacing how this can cause problems for league racing when not eveyone owns the content.

DLC is also something I generally associate more with Console games and with Simbin having been down that route I'm not overly optimistic about this new offering.
