Practice 1:20:00(10 mins)
Qual 2:20:10(20 mins)
Race:20:30(80 mins)note: no warmup!

Cars allowed: Any GTC or GT3 from the v2.12.0.0 pack (download from here).
Track: Estoril.
Weather: dry.
Race Start Time: 14:00.
Pit Stops: You must make a minimum of one pit stop during which you must take on at least 1 litre of fuel and/or change at least two tyres. You cannot take a mandatory stop at the end of the pace lap, or with less than 1 lap to go.

Server: UKGTR U12LE
Password: see above

Notes:
(1) Please make sure you are fully aware of the UKGTR Rules - especially the speed limiter starting procedure and the rules about in-game chat messages.
(2) Standings and schedule can be found on the championship standings page
(3) You will not be able to join the server without the car physics pack (see link above).
(4) Drivers may only change car once in the season without penalty.
(5) Drivers are reminded that they must select ISDN as their bandwidth, otherwise the stability of everyone's connection will be reduced.
(6) Please use the Driver Details page to ensure that the league management software has your correct GTR2 'Driving Name' (not necessarily the same as your lobby name).
(7) The server will be set to 26 slots, not 28.

Did some laps here today. Is it just me or does Estoril make these cars feel really slow? Maybe it is because the track is so wide? Whatever i kept coming off because i was always going too fast! Nice to see the race will be dry here, a wet Estoril never was much fun.

You can enter as full time - there isn't any registration any more for any series in SRou (only in UKGPL).

Just remember the password. The server will restart at 8ish and the race password will be needed. Its the practise password till' that point.

Eeek! Hope I didn't take anybody out - I think I had a driver go wonky on me, screen and sound froze, and then I got returned to my Desktop but GTR was still running and I heard my car smash into the wall - I thought I'd had my PC freeze on my so I was holding the power button to turn it off to make sure I didn't hit anybody so my PC promptly shut down when it switched back to the Desktop!

Apart from that, pretty poor race...dodgy setup, understeer on the way into, and in the middle of corners, oversteer on the way out!

That was a total race of two halves for me. Brilliant first 45 minutes, constant race action with several other quick cars including Jose, H@L, Legz etc and i fought my way up from 10th qually spot to 5th.
Pitted on the 45th minute after seeing my nearest competitors pit before me and thinking i was game on for a top 5 finish, i came out the pits completely bewildered to see myself 20 odd secs behind Legz who was miles behind me when i pitted and 3 other cars all had a 10 second lead on me - wtf?  Huh I didnt make any mistakes in the pitstop, straight forward tyre and fuel stop so how the hell did i lose so much time and drop 4 very hard fought for places?  Angry

That totally destroyed my rhythm and enthusiasm and started making silly errors overdriving, just couldnt get my head around it. With 15mins to go i got spat out of T1 exit straight across the road into the armco and tore my front right wheel off  :'(
End of. Did you guys just take tyres ? I thought these cars had been tweaked so no one could do a full race distance on fuel now? Must admit i didnt check as had no chance to do any praccy before this event. What a crap end to a brilliant first half of a race. Great fun early on though, brilliant racing action.

Some of the cars can make it without the need to add any fuel. The Porka was able to do this at Hockenheim, not sure about other events though. I had to take fuel tonight in the Gillet GTC.

Great first half of race hounding Berger. Not much in it really and pistop may have been crucial. Just before my pit I hit the unlucky nsfast who spun right in front and I had nowhere to go, sorry for that. It bent my car a bit but you left soon afterwards Lips Sealed Berger was gone and I was chasing Jayblue without making much of an impression. Luckily for me his tyres went, or maybe he just made a couple of mistakes? I'll take it anyways  Smiley More races like that would be nice.

I wasn't sure so put on fuel anyways but pretty sure it didn't need it tonight. I guess the Vertigo is ok for tyres so its swings and roundabouts?

lol MJ... Do you cut & paste that same phrase in every week? Kiss Wink

I was 8 secs behind you when I pitted, yet I was nearly 20 ahead when you left the pits Roll Eyes. The question remains... What do you do for your pitstops? Look at your pitstop laptime compared to everybody else's! Looking at your pitstop, you were stationery for 45secs, I was stationary for about 29 secs.

Sort it out MJ, because I'd of loved more of the same fight in the 2nd stint!

Nice racing tonight Smiley

Had an ok quali and made a perfect start, getting the jump on Bob into T1. We had a right battle for many laps, exchanging places several times. Nice driving Bob and good to see you've cured you wobble Wink

My slow in fast out style must have caught out a GTC car because I was punted allowing Bob and Peter through. Made a couple of mistakes trying to claw back and was fortunate to pass Matt, who was waiting after an incident. Had some pressure towards the end after a mistake allowed Matt to close in the final laps but managed to keep my nerve to a pody finish after Bob's bad luck (fuel?).
