That has happened to me before when the server had a 3rd party car installed I didn't have- doesn't make any sense though as this one is official cars and tracks only. Got a new PB in qually 1:39.X, very pleased. Knew I'd be a sitting duck for the first few corners though as the medium fronts made the car feel a little skittish until warm. A couple of laps in had a close call with Maurice at the first corner- not an overtaking attempt Maurice, I moved over to try to buy myself some space and also braked earlier than my usual marker. Couldn't tell if i tapped you or you were taking the corner wide and too fast and span. Did a drive through the pits anyway. My dodgy hamstring is still hurting unfortunately and I had to quit about half way through

Well that answers one question then, I got disco'd at end of Q2, tried to get back in, but game was full. Finally got in with about 10 secs of qually left, selected Lambo and found myself at the back of the grid. Started climbing up through the field only to get punted off twice from behind in the same lap. Tried to push to make up time, but span into the barrier and lost the splitter, decided enough was enough and it wasn't going to be my night.

But you got to understand it's really frustrating if your race is practically over within 5 minutes. After the spin I got stuck behind the backmarkers. That I had to quit wasn't anybodies fault. I tried to make up some time to get back on my spot, but I took the last corner too fast got some oversteer and just lost it. I better stop whining now I think. Like I said, better luck next time

It has been a bit of a nightmare start for me too, nothing wrong with the racing, couldnt connect earlier on, so uninstalled gtr and reinstalled, still no joy, didnt have a firewall on, opened my ports, still no joy, turned out it was zonelarm firewall was on my machine, tho I only selected the anti-virus software, anyway, uninstalled it and hey presto, I can connect, get into server, and now my wheel doesnt feel right, there is very little feedback effects, its set at 100% in windows and 97% in gtr, so i exit again, go into game controllers in windows and everything is set ok, but when i do the feedback test the feedback is weak, unplug the usb, put it back in, still doesnt feel right, shutdown, restart, pushing it for time to make the race, go into gtr and select momo wheel effects, go into server and the feedback is back again, go into qually and im struggling, can't get a clean lap in, managed 16th in the end, start of race go too fast into first corner, end up in sand trap, come out in last place, make a few places up as people fall off the track, had an incident in what i think was with a saleen , he had a wobbly moment and i touched his rear end, sorry to whoever that was, It look like i sent you into pitlane, hope that wasnt the case, but couldnt see you in my mirror, I go round into the start finish straight and as I get near the end my pc goes into 1fps mode, bought more memory hoping to avoid that, end up smashed into tyre barrier, wrecked, so that sums up my night. :'( at least ive got 2weeks to get my problems sorted. grats to the podium , cyas next time

Christ, has everyone been eating red meat since season 1? Dave and Greg might have their hands full this week . No idea why but i'm not much good at barca. Done more laps there than anywhere else but still sucked. So pretty happy with 8th, it was as good as I could have expected. Congrats to Jon, different class.

Wasn't going to race here as I was only reserve, but I checked at about 8:43 and there was 5 spaces so I thought I'd better make up the numbers.
Decided to take the Corvette despite no practice and no proper setup. Made a setup during qualifying and went into the 1:39s, very pleasing, 0.5 faster than my PB in the Vette at least (if not more), although no where near my Lambo time and no one was near JonM's astonishing pole time!!
Race was very consistent very much like my NGT sprint race in the Morgan. The Vette is very easy to drive and keep on the track so no mistakes at all whole race, consistent pace and picked up 4th.
I let Luis and and Pedro past a couple of times as they were much faster than me and being a good team player I wanted them to try and get into the faster boys up front. In the end I finished ahead of them through consistency but very promising for team shark, 3 in the top 10 and if Luis had managed to finish would have been 4. Shame for Luis.
Well done Jon on another dominating performance.

That was hard work. Got knocked back to last place after an incident on the first lap, and had trouble getting the car off the kerb. Worked my way up the grid and finished 7th through a mix of retirements and passes, which I'm pretty pleased with. Will have to look at the replay to make sure all my moves were OK.
Apologies to the driver I punted off in qualifying. Your braking point was a lot earlier than mine, and I was slow to react.

Christ, has everyone been eating red meat since season 1? Dave and Greg might have their hands full this week . Didnt see anything at the front, very clean race, lol. Anyway on to my race. Qualed in 4th, well pleased with the time. Had a steady start to the race until Maj put me under a lot of pressure, just couldnt shake him off. This went on for lap after lap until Maj spun making an overtaking manover. So now I'm alone on the track for the first time this race and up to 2nd after two of the faster guys had spun. Carried on and on with Rich getting closer and closer as we neared the final lap. Just managed to hold him off by 0.3 secs to claim 2nd place. Really pleased with the result as it was totaly unexpected. Time to look at the replay me thinks.

First race for me... pleased I managed to finish! Lost a lot of time in the pits when I couldn't restart the engine after fuelling, couldn't remember what key's I'd assigned to what!

I tried a new car for me, the Ferrari 550, but one of the pirelli-tyred ones Went OK, threw some kind of setup together in qually and quickly made some places after some fell off. Slipped past SBG and set off on the long haul. Then I came up behind Locutus when he spun, I chose the inside to go round him and was amazed when I hit him Thought I'd left enough room :'( That screwed the race up as I got stuck on the kerb when turning round Visit to the pits for repairs and I was dead last. Made it back to 11th after others fell off, despite another self-inflicted spin. Not bad, but think I might stick to my Viper from now on

i have no engine sounds, i can hear all other game sounds not my own lump In my home league ( http://liga.gtr.pl/) this problem occured when skins were installed on the server but not on your local machine. I am not sure if UKGTR allow for car skins, but this may be your bug.

Hi there.
First proper race for me & had a bit of a strange one(enjoyed it though).
Was doing ok (16th) then got bumped off the track coz I think i'm braking earlier than you guys(no-ones fault).
Then was holding my position in 3rd(from last.. ha ha) & then my DELL happily interupted & told me that my pc needed an update or something & all I could hear was my car ramming into a barrier! I then spent the next three minutes with the 1fps bug watching you guys cruising round havin a great time!!
I obviously then had to retire but i'll be back!!
Thanks to all of you,
Codsworth
P.S. how do I make a replay of the whole race??
All my replays of the races seem to be of me just sitting in the garage?? Any ideas?

Tale of missed opportunities for me...
Qualify was good, narrowing down on where I thought I should be compared to my race pace. Last flying lap, 0.3 up, and a car is ambling round on a warmup lap smack bang on the racing line into that sweeper before La Caixa. Those 0.3 seconds cost me 5 positions!
Lap 1, great feeling car, Easily passed PaulW on the way to turn one but tapped a lister (i think) into turn 4 and they did a graceful spin, Sorry so much for that, you just slowed more than I expected, but there's no excuse really.
Ended up quite far down, where I did some superb overtaking moves, and some inventive lines to get passed people. Then I started getting to the more challenging people like PaulW and Sponsored, was still a good bit faster than them, PaulW went off in sympathy for someone else then just as I was pulling close to Sponsored... Computer resets... WTF. So the only points I get are penalty points, majorly gutted.
Doubly Gutted as Barca is my absolute favourite track, and the only good race I've had there has been a fun race.
Still at least some of my penalty points should expire soon :-)
On the plus side, the F550 felt near perfect with a modified GH setup, looking forward to Magny...
