Moderator's Report

Server replay time: 407s

Brendan takes to the inside of James into the turn but doesn't really have much overlap, James fails to spot the move and turns into him, making contact and half spins, forcing Brendan to a near-stop and Pete unavoidably makes contact with Brendans rear.

James is a little tentative going into the turn which catches Brendan out as he's following quite closely.

I accept this wasn't an attempt at a pass but on lap 1 I'd rather see drivers giving exercise caution than trying to jockey for position so the responsibility must lie with Brendan. The mitigating circumstance of James slow corner entry lead me to offer a warning for this incident.

Server replay time: 737s

Truetom makes contact with Mike Wrightson under heavy braking into T3. This is a tricky corner and is a very heavy braking zone for the next turn which is pretty slow.

Mike brakes at an entirely reasonable point, Truetom isn't following especially closely but fails to get slowed down enough and hits Mike's rear.

A bit more caution needs to be shown in a difficult area of the track.

Server replay time: 2910s

Dan makes contact with James in the last turn of the last lap.

Dan has a huge speed advantage over James and is racing for position. James takes the last turn very slowly which catches Dan out and runs into the back of him, pushing him onto the grass. Dan gains no advantage as he waits for James to re-join and compete the race.

Rear-end contact will mostly attract a penalty but the mitigating circumstances of James' very slow cornering and Dan waiting for him to re-join means I'll reduce this to a warning but it's a borderline penalty.

I've managed to take 0.5s off my previous PB to put in a 1:51.3

I'm not sure if this is down to the new build or maybe I've just got a bit better!

I have a lot more scope for "getting better" though Wink Cheesy

I think the car feels good round here, this is one of the combo's I've done the most laps with and there doesn't feel a massive difference to me between the old build and new.

I'm really starting to fall out of love with this car  Angry

I've found a decent setup but just can't find any consistency and am nearly a second off my PB.  I'll see how Monday practice goes and make a decision on whether I'll bother with the Indy for the rest of the season.

It's not helped by watching the DWC stream, they make it look soooo easy......

The race looked good. I enjoyed it.

Sebring in 2 mins. Last race dumped us all when I was winning by 13secs.

I have been posting my Dallara setups on the Team Shark forum.

Road America was only a few weeks ago and I don't think any updates have taken place since. It should still be good.

Oh dear Sad

I really hoping those TS setups magically transform it into a driveable car wacko

I might need some help tonight

If I can drive it I'm sure everyone else can! Wink

Looks like I'll be able to join in the practice session again tonight, happy to share my set-up if anyone want it.

I've been gradually reducing the amount of rear wing, and expect to keep doing so until the car becomes unstable in the fast corners. The setup is the one I used for the World Cup Runoffs; it's stable rather than fast.

I should be around for practice - I'll make a decision about tomorrows race after the session.  I've run here before so hopefully experience will trump ineptitude this time ....
