Am i right in saying that there is a week break next week (4th) and we resume on the 11th in U12LE?
Not sure if i am racing tonight yet  Sad
Yes JB. No race next week. Lower Endurance the week after.
There will be a race, it'll be a fun/test one though (I believe).

Driving the Bi-T around here is a bit like juggling ferrets. Good fun, but you know you're going to get bitten in the end Smiley

 Grin

Fun race.

I had a great fight with nsfast for the first half of the race. I could not find a way past as I seemed to need to make the move under braking or going into a corner which is a bit beyond me in the Lambo at the moment. I had to stay close as well to keep up so that I could use the slipstream on the straights. We pitted at the same time but nsfast had a much quicker stop. Did you take on fuel and 4 tyres nsfast? I possibly could have replaced only the rears, but it would have been a bit too marginal for my liking at the end if I had. I filled up to 95L, so I took on about 70 - 80L I think.

After the stop nsfast was way ahead and within one or two laps he had his lead up to 12 seconds. Towards the end I started to make many mistakes and was probably lucky to get 4th.

Well done podiums, see you all next race. Smiley Super Alien lap times at the front again. Cheesy

It was a hard race, qualified in 2nd and stayed in 2nd for the whole race lapping as if it was quali Shocked

As FreQ said I had a difficult first lap with cold tyres but as soon as I was up to speed I tried to follow Berger closely. But I was on soft fronts and they started to wear badly (ended the first stint on 31 wear despite pitting earlier than expected) and Berger pulled away. It was 6 seconds before the pitstops, 9 seconds after them.

Started to cut back the gap in the first laps of 2nd stint and thought I could catch him but then he started to put some 1.28's which killed my aspirations laugh decided to settle down for 2nd before I was gonna lose the car big time somewhere, as I said I didn't stop pushing very hard all race until the final laps where I was exhausted.

Grats Berger and all podiums Smiley

Was 3rd, then left with no juice... death
Couldn't get anywhere near the pace of RSRs, any of them got 0,5 sec on main straight alone. Had to work my butt off to keep enough distance before it. I feel this car's been downgraded a tiny bit too much. Sad

Massive discos, two Legends among them. Sad

Didnt enjoy that at all.

Quallied second last and seemed to only just keep on the tails of those ahead but that quickly changed and after going off twice having locked up into the last corner was about 13 secs to JPV ahead and wasnt able to make any impression. Was struggling to stay interested but thought i'd wait till i needed to pit before deciding. After calling the pit far too late i tried cutting into the pitlane but it didnt register me entering it so wasted a few mins trying to get the pit crew to do anything. Realised i needed to go around again but coming out of the pits i seemed to get confused and mistakingly switched the engine off! By then i'd just given up!

My only hope is around Portimao the Beemer should be better suited.

that was a little bit manic.... mainly because of me!

Had a great race but it was ended 20 mins before the end.... start was fun as a train of of gtr2 cars from Jose back. I was quicker than Jose but he was driving a wide car very well! After hassling him quite a bit I took an opportunity to pass, but it my eagerness I floored the throttle too early to get out the corner and spun.... after all that?!?! lol

A bad rejoin saw Peter have an off-track excursion (i think it was me, not seen replay?) so sorry mate, I slowed down the next corner when I saw it in my rear-view and let him pass. Ended up almost last in class and had fun driving back up through the field before my tyres felt like canvas  Tongue

Pitted and after too many iRacing hours, I had forgotten my engine-off button.....I had even forgotten I needed to turn-off the engine! So sat there for 10 secs at least before my engineer started telling me off  Roll Eyes  laugh Came out back at the bottom of the class, TT was just behind me before the stop and was now 15secs up the road  Embarrassed

Grats API... a patient and quick race! Smiley Very unlucky SbG.... engine in the bi-turbo is a rare too  Undecided

Can't wait for the next one.... will try for more than 30 mins of practice this time!  Wink

I don't recall you doing anything to put me off. When you let me passed I thought your car must have been damaged with what ever incident you'd had. But then you started chasing me and hassling me to make a mistake. Tyre wear and lack of talent allowed you passed and then I never saw you again. Damn you were quick in clear air.

I also wondered what happened in your pitstop, same car but you probably lost 20 secs to me. I had a decent one for a change but not that good.

Perseverance also paid off for me last night, I was quicker than TT on new tyres but not once they had worn so the gift of a podium was welcome but totally undeserved. Thanks TT Smiley

Lol, you're welcome, Pete. Grin You scared me big time by staying as close as you were. I knew if I let you within 0,5 sec in last corner exit it would be enough for you to overtake. Was hard work and shown on tyres. Beer felt ace. Cheesy

Gotta get my G25 repaired, hoping to use my warranty to get G27 with adding some small amount of €.  Smiley

I thought i would not do to well tonight when i saw the GT1 qually times,
as i had had only managed a 1.30.88 pb in my pre race practise so no surprise
that i was last on the grid of GT1,s.
Played my captain sensible card, slow but steady and benifited from Freq and
David dropping out gaining 2 places to 5th.

Congrats to Berger and Busi, blistering pace! and Adam(nsfast) good to see you
on the podium, well done and congrats to GT2 winners and alll who finished.

Team Supersonic was Supersonic tonight! (but i think i only just cracked the sound barrier).

We pitted at the same time but nsfast had a much quicker stop. Did you take on fuel and 4 tyres nsfast?

Usual 4 tyres and fuel for me. The Supersonic pit crew were in good form last night. I must of had Jayblue's expert team in his absence.  Grin

I really enjoyed last night race despite the thin GT1 field. Whilst I had no chance keeping up with the top 3, with the sniff of a podium I was determined to avoid mistakes and make a race of it with H@L. I slowly managed to build up a small gap in the first half but as my tyres started to go away H@L was back onto me. I was lucky that traffic managed to favour me which allowed me to stay in front when we pitted.

A great performance by the pit team sent me out about 6 secs in front for the second half which increased to around 12secs after a few laps. It was the a case of looking after the tyres to the end. Great racing H@L

Congrats to the podiums and all who finished.

Yes JB. No race next week. Lower Endurance the week after.

Thanks. Congrats to Berger on the win, Busi second and Nsfast on third. I will be back into the routine after our weeks break!

It was the red ones with white dots this time. Cheesy

Yer, I put my car in the gravel after TT let me pass. I was trying not to slow TT down, but I went a bit wide and could not make the corner. Roll Eyes

Great racing H@L

Indeed. Smiley Shame I could not keep the pace up after the stop. Next time. Wink
