Is that that one with the bat and the ball that that Freddy Flintstone bloke plays?

When you've been thrashed by Newcastle, you've got a trip to Sixfields to look forward to, so you can be thrashed by the Cobblers too Wink

I'll wait until after that match to point out that we're unbeaten away from home, rather than mentioning it now and then saying "I told you so" afterwards. Tongue

So were we until last week Wink

Nah, it'll probably be 0-0.  We seem to have a habit of playing for a draw at the moment, despite being markedly better than the teams we're playing Roll Eyes Grimsby are a good side though, could be a good game.

Gutted.  Sad

And I thought it was good thing when Shearer decided not to retire!  Roll Eyes

Proud of the boys, they were better than us (but then they should be!).

Best part for me was when Whittle managed to blatantly elbow Shearer in the gob, making him bleed, right in front of the ref AND get away with it. Brilliant! Serves him right for elbowing Whittle in the first place. 1 each.  Smiley

It looked like Whittle was challenging Shearer to a fight after the final whistle... probably would have been a good one as well!

I met Justin Whittle at a works Christmas party, he seemed like a decent lad. I used to work with his old farther in law, Walt. He played for Stoke back then. Walt told me he was gonna give me a thrashing for giving him some drunken abuse that happened at the party which I couldn't remember anything about  Shocked Needless to say I was a very gullible young man and belived every word that came out of his gob, and after seeing what Shearer got I'm glad it was a wined up Cheesy Git
