Strange race for me. My Z4 is not good here, slow on the straights and very thirsty which cost me at pit stop time. I gained a couple of places on the start as Legzy missed his limiter button causing contact with TT. Spanner soon caught me and went past on the straight as if I was standing still. Truetom later caught up and effortlessly nudged his way past. After that, things were relatively quiet with the thankless task of lapping GT3 cars no slower than me on the straights until I noticed Spanner stopping again and rapidly catching me. In the space between the first two right hand hairpins I was setting PBs for the sector and still losing a second whilst making a bit up in the twisty part. As seventh place seemed about to become eighth, I fought hard to make my Z4 as fast and wide as possible and undeservedly gained a place when SbG ran out of fuel.
I don't like the mix of GTC and GT3 this season for the reasons stated above. I would drive GT3 and GTC classes if possible so I can only race every other weekend this season as I have no interest in driving GT1/2. Something for Legzy to consider when planning future seasons?

Race full of things. Wink Had a pleasure to have some close laps with various gentlemen, mostly Legzy, H@l and Prof. BTW, MJ, you were very fast, so your setup must have been ok. Smiley

After "The Start" Wink I lost two or three places, then lost some more after Prof was spun around and his car slammed into mine and took me to gravel. Had 12th place then and was quite nervous, though it was just a wobbly start, nothing else. Undecided Anyways, tried to be as consistent as possible and slowly gained places. Took me only 40 minutes to get back to 6th, where I started in the first place. Roll Eyes Later on was just trying to be smooth and fast, no more overtakes. Spanner's and sbgs' bad luck gained me two places, though I didn't deserve it pace wise. Smiley

@ Prof: made a report of the "nudging".
@ H@l: that TVR was quite quick on a straight! Shocked Couldn't get into position to get by, really. I could come close, but could never pass without your mistake. Might be tempted to make some laps in the next Season. yes
@ Legzy: a beachslap! Grin Ok, you made it up with your mistakes brilliant last 15 minutes that forced both of us to drive on the very limit of us and our cars. Good stuff! thumbup1

Tough, lovely track where I won my one and only Marcos podium. clap  Oh, sorry. Wink Tough track which evens out class differences and demands your constant attention or it bites you in the butt. GT2s would be great here. wub

Grats to podys. Smiley

I don't remember being spun round and making contact with anyone. Are you sure it wasn't Picnic? Us BMW Sharks are easy to confuse when rotating.

As explained more fully elsewhere 'effortlessly nudged' refers to the overtaking qualities of the Z4 and makes no suggestion of contact whatsoever.

Might be possible, Prof. If you and Pete were using same car / skin ... I only looked at cars in replay, not names. Shark Z4 was spun by a Viper in T3, turned and slammed into me and I was flung into the gravel. Was a bit crowdy there. Cheesy

Good chase on later, Prof. Smiley

That was me in a Z3. The skins may be pretty much the same but the silhouettes are different Wink

Sorry Pete. Your speed through that corner was amazing, so I thought it must be Z8 for sure. Tongue

Its great fun, but a real challenge on the tighter circuits. You would probably love it. Grin

Nice engine sound as well.
