So how do you want to structure this, do you just want one publicly accessible forum, or do you want to control access in some way?
Do you need this admin forum or is it just you running the show on your own?

If possible Dave, I guess it would be good to have one "admin" area accessible by myself and possibly another ( where we would post a race list and dates etc) and a public area for posting /discussion/news etc. and somewhere for people to register?
I really do want to keep this very simple and straightforward ( in my case "idiot proof"??!!), as I have realised that now we are alongside UKGPL, where most of our drivers originate, this will purely be a place to find some fun races.
Thanks Clive

The Admin board is only needed if you want to have discussions completely in private - the race date list can just be a locked, sticky topic in another board. As for registration, is that going to be used to control access to something else? That is, do you need a board which can only be accessed by registered BREASTS drivers?
The other leagues all have something along the lines of: Announcements - other announcements (anyone can post but only admins can start new threads) Races - race announcements and subsequent discussion (anyone can post but only admins can start new threads) Admin - private board only visible to the admin staff General - anyone can post, including starting a new topic
How much of that you need hinges on how you want to handle registration; obviously if you want a topic to which people reply with their details it needs to be somewhere public.

Upon reflection, I don't think we need the "Admin" board as nothing happens worth being kept secret in Breasts lol.
So to keep things very simple just ,
Announcements - other announcements (anyone can post but only admins can start new threads) Races - race announcements and subsequent discussion (anyone can post but only admins can start new threads) General - anyone can post, including starting a new topic
Basically, because there are no points to contest etc. anyone is welcome to join a race, registration is not really an issue either other than to have a rough idea of how many drivers might turn up, so we can dispense with that as well.
Thanks Clive

Okay, I think I've now got that setup correctly. No doubt I've got all the permissions horribly wrong as usual. Let me know if anything appears to be wrong...

So we have to figure out who the 3rd Clive is. Evil's evil clone perhaps? Computer says... Mr Oily's Clive, and so's his wife...
