Moderator's Report

Server replay time: 230s

Ken makes contact with Adam coming into the last turn.

Watching the replay, this is an odd one. It looks like Ken brakes in plenty of time and gets slowed down enough but then goes into the back of Adam with some very light contact.

It's fortunate, given the fragility of the cars, that Adam is OK to continue but as it's lap 1 I feel a penalty is appropriate.

Server replay time: 641s

Ross attempts to overtake Ken into the last turn, appears not to get slowed down quite enough, runs a bit wide and starts to over-steer a little bringing him into contact with Ken.

It's difficult to see what Ken could have done differently, he spots the pass and leaves Ross plenty of room to complete the pass.

As such, the blame must lie with Ross and as this falls into the category of 'avoidable contact', I feel a penalty must be applied.

Robert makes contact with Ken on the exit of the last turn.

After recovering from a spin, Robert is passed by Simon and Ken into the turn. Ken is level and has the inside line under braking.

Rob then seems to try to contest the pass into the turn, completely fairly, leaving Ken plenty of space on the inside, but on exit he inexplicably moves back to the inside making contact with Ken who has left space for Rob on the outside.

My main concern with this incident is that Rob put himself in this position by contesting the pass when it should have been apparent he'd lost the place. Even though up to the point there was contact he's within his rights to do so and does so fairly. If you put yourself in an avoidable position where you make a small mistake and there's contact, the driver must take responsibility for that action.

As this is entirely avoidable contact, a penalty is appropriate.

Brian attempts to take the inside into T1 while Stuart takes his normal line, squeezing Brian across the track and there seems to be phantom contact forcing Brian to run off track.

Brian admitted it was maybe a slightly over-ambitious attempt at the pass but as far as I can see, no contact took place so it's difficult to assess a penalty, if the phantom contact hadn't occurred then there's a possibility the pass could have worked. Although Stuart was coming back across the track on his normal racing line, there was still quite a lot of track for Brian to work with.

If there had been 'proper' contact, Brian would possibly be assessed with a penalty, as it is, I'm reducing it to a warning.

Server replay time: 1146s

Mike goes into T1 a bit hot and starts to oversteer which leaves a big gap for Paul to go for.

Mike just about recovers but is not in 100% control and oversteers back into Paul making light contact.

Paul has gone for an entirely legitimate gap and Mike has done his best to control the car, I'm calling this is a racing incident.

Server replay time: 1982s

Going into T1 Rob starts to lose it and oversteer, which forces Andy to slow and do the same. Both recover control but have slowed considerbaly leaving Ken (who keeps control of the car) nowhere to go and he makes contact with Andy.

This is a racing incident due to a chain reaction of events, no driver did anything wrong.
