What is the acknowledged wisdom with respect to track installation?

It strikes me that every new PnG race requires a new track, some of which I had never even heard of before the race is announced.  My poor little pc is filling up with addon tracks that I may never need for another 12 months, if at all.

These tracks are big files as well!
It appears to me that the installation just creates a new folder in the "Locations" folder and doesn't try to keep any other list, season or grouping.

Added to which, they get updated!

So, should I just uninstall each track when I have finished with it?

In these days of T-byte internal hard drives and USB external drives why worry?

Install and forget I say.

Agree, 160gig drives are only 30-35 pounds, its nothing nowadays. Though i guess using peoples bandwidth, with having to download the same tracks every season is probably is more of a worry.

Just a tad worried about the power supply if I put another drive on.  My flakey old pc won't look at SATA either.

USB external hard drive has it's own power. But if your mobo doesn't support SATA it must be a museum piece.

Eventhough the tracks may be the same between series that I run, I always download the tracks again to ensure I have the version used by the server.
