It's not just a different colours, it's different adverts and everything, and it's not car 52 anymore.
I'll jump on line early to test that there are no mismatches. I might try running the 1.8 after the 10

Just checked the Psuedo 52 Capri online Matt (I'm taking it tonight too) and it's all looking correct. Are you sure you haven't been
sleep-painting again?

no sire, not this time. It's car 1, and red and white.
I will run the 1.8 again in case the 10 has mucked stuff up

I get the number 1 capri whatever car I load, unless I try to load a mustang, then i get a 917k.
Is same off line, I see the correct car with correct livery in the loading window, then when i go to game
i get the 1 capri... even if I select a CSL..
Given up tonight,I will run original system.

Poor race for me, too much time mucking around with computers, not enough pracccy time.
Sorry to all behind when I hit 2nd gear on the grid by mistake. then it steadily went worse. fell off, then fell off lots
more rushing to catch up, hit return in pits and got 130 sec stop 58 of which was replacing the suspension, kept going
but apart from people having problems was too far back to race anyone properly. I'm sure this has happened before
but after selecting everything, and not canceling the damage, they didn;t change my rears, and was all over the road
straight away after stop, perhaps I cancelled rears instead of repairs....
Grats to Pody, and Team mate Phil for a well earned 3rd  Smiley
Tough on Ade. I was running NVidia 8800GT tonight and kept blowing in it's general direction.

I'm working in Glasgow next week so will miss races. I am getting bored with battling with these WIN7 fixes
all of which seem to have some side effects - sound probs/wrong cars/file names/blank screen I will probably have
another go at it, but I've followed people's guides to the letter, and still have an unuseable system.
I built the new system more for work than games, but it's a good deal faster and the frame rate is noticeably better
so would like to use it.

Damn phspok, I have not noticed you had trouble in Win7, the GTL I use is free of StarForce. Install GTL & copy your Profile from the previous installation & everything works in under 10 minutes  Cheesy
Maybe you should start over on a fresh install with this version of GTL.

First off I have to give a congrats to GTLDK guys for a great qualy.. Niceeee. Once again I was the darling of fortune. I have had some of the craziest good luck this year. Before the race I made a small gear change using a slightly shorter 5th gear. I didn't think that it would put me into fuel problems as I had done easily 11 laps the night before with the slightly taller 5th gear. Pelle was fast fast and got by me on lap 2 or 3 and was starting to pull away. Till I came around the last corner only to see him spinning out right before the finish line Sad Ade was still in striking distance at that point and all I can say is that mean Black Capri really kept me on my toes. It's a scary thing!! Shocked Whether it was the race pace being faster than my practice and or the gear change I realized I probably wouldn't make it 11 laps and I truly hate rolling the dice only to run out of fuel so I figured I could still get a good finish with 2 stops. I didn't change tires so I hoped that might get me up in the finishing order too. After pitting on lap 10 I came out in 3rd so I had high hopes for a podium at that point and drove as hard as I could to get a big enough gap for a podium. Had an uneventful second stint and was lucky enough to have Henry do a second stop and Ade have his graphics issue right before he caught me exiting the pits. Ade you were really on it and truly deserve the win. Perfect strategy and very fast race pace usually gets the win..unless the dam graphics card decides to go wacky... Sad  A big congrats to Henry and Phil for their solid podium spots. Good job to all else that managed to finish that very unforgiving place Wink Cheers

Cracker of a race last night. Hadn't done much practice before and fully expected an early exit.

Always find the 320 difficult off the line and again I was mugged as Matt and Phil pulled away in their Team Pseudo Capris. Matt ran wide and Sqter missed his braking point into the s/f straight and I was left in 6th behind Phil.

We had a terrific battle almost up to the pitstop. The Capri was very quck down the "straights" but I was able to pick up a little tow to keep in contention and close up in the tight section. This also seemed to help with my borderline fuel cosumption. We swapped places a couple of times until I selected the wrong gear coming out of the tight hairpin and I spun round and stalled. By the time I got going Phil was 15 secs down the road which was how it stayed until the end.

Congrats to Navin, Henry and Phil on their podies and hard luck to Pelle and Ade.

Fantastic GTLDK...again 1-2 in UKGTL - Big Grats NRJ - Henry & Phil

A very close battle for pole, 4/10 after NRJ...& Argh, Henry pushing me down on the third starting place, BMW in front  Wink
...but what scared me most...I did not know about 9 laps fuel was enough for 11 laps  Huh
Race:
Coming past Henry on the start, but come again & I let Henry go first in T3 & choose to relax behind the two BMW's & save fuel. Unfortunately discovers Ade situation & passes, down at number 4  Angry Henry gives really good place a few turns later 'Thx', struggle with Ade can begin  laugh After I passed Ade is next NRJ...wild race over several laps & NRJ must give up...or save fuel ? At this point I really felt I had a winning car & race in my pocket, setup was perfect, it was funny, I can throw the car around every corner...except T'last  Shocked Spins around & my fingers would not respond quickly enough today to rescue the situation with clutch. NRJ, Ade & Henry is gone...down at number 4 again.
2 laps later start the party again, Ade & Henry is reached, the battle for second place is in progress & I pass Henry in fun race & send a message to Ade: I'm back  laugh In the soft right turn before T'Last I try to go on the outside...but now runs rallycross on the grass, Henry goes past again.
Time for a pit stop 'only for fuel', unfortunately gives it a pitlane speed, but I knew the race was over...my strength was exhausted. Four or five laps later I parked the car at a house. I've heard car & house is for sale...very cheap. Yes Goldtop, shame it ended this way, & especially for Ade in the last lap...but gave GTLDK 1-2  Smiley
...several were not lucky today from GTLDK, Sqter, Senyorlobo & Helle ?
WOW NRJ: Only 7 points behind Goldtop  whistling

Last nights race for me had both extremes.

The joy of fast clean racing for lap after lap against Helle, where both of us exchanged the lead as we caught up with Bill.

Then the ultimate embarrassment of being beached on the grass ridge bank whilst the rest of the field drove by, probably sniggering and pointing.

Lovely, lovely track tho. Thanks to Henry for introducing me to that one. Needless to say were back there in 2011.

Couldn't get in a decent qualifying lap but made a good start and made up a few places.  Had the very slightest of nudges on that fast down hill section on lap 1 (other driver probably didn't notice it), I went off over the grass at high speed and managed to recover before that lone house on the left.  After that I noticed the brakes didn't pull up as square as normal but I was able to correct on the steering by lifting and re-braking.  Tony and helle started to catch me so I tried to speed up but eventually lost it on the slower part of the first villiage we go through.  Eventually got it turned around after a few front/rear bumps which didn't improve my braking problem and I lost it a few more times until about 2/3 laps before my planed pit stop I had a big off and damaged the front right wheel (graphics on Xd showed white/clear).  I managed to limp around to the pits using full left lock on the straights and slowing to a crawl on the right handers.  Just hit return for the lot to be fixed.  When I'd finished I had 11.9 laps worth of fuel on board, about a lap more than normal.  I short shifted to save fuel, people retired and just as I was thinking of a splash and dash Navin passed and put me another lap down so I managed to eke out my fuel to the finish with about 0.1  of a lap left as I crossed the line.

Bill, after I retired I stayed in the pits and watched everyone finish. Must say your car, and some others, were certainly sporting interesting new body shapes/features  Cheesy
