Well worth the effort I think Mike  Smiley Enjoyed getting back into these monsters for some pracci but disappointed that the 512 felt awful on the Vintage tyres and I won't be using that. The Alfa was a different story, great fun.

That said, think I might use something from the lower group. Be sure to be in a race the whole time that way, which should be nice Smiley

The Alfa is in the lower group

I had a quick run with the Lola and the big ferri, not so much fun here I felt, I will almost certainly
be running in the lower group, I may get some prac in this weekend, but unless something really
grabs me, I will be using the Matra, if for no other reason than it scares the local cats away.  Shocked

hi guys.
i was near enough ecstatic to see there's an enduro on monday, perfect time to rejoin after a way too long absence.
sadly the tumultous hord of germans venturing along outside reminded me that i'm not in uk anymore and bankholidays are unknown here......damn.
after having tried a few of the cars after more than 2 years off the virtual tarmac, i've decided that it might be safer for all concerned if i rejoin for something milder anyway.....if you still do that. unless there's a wheelbarrel to download for me, that'll be the only thing i will be capable of driving atm.
might see you soon, if you'll still have me.........

Well it's definately there so I'm guessing your hosts file is set wrong. Backup your existing hosts file then download this http://www.humyo.com/FBLLFrW/hosts?a=rKUZOuH3eJM

If you don't know, your hosts file lives here c:/windows/system32/drivers/etc

Tony, are we all having different cars in this event?  If so I'd like to put my name down for the Alfa Tipo 33/3 No. 38.  Cool

My old reactions are not up to the fastest cars these days,  wheelchair so I've checked out the P3.0 cars and that's the one best suited to my driving style  Roll Eyes

Bill

Wrong   Hit with a wet fish  - can't get the Alfa to turn in but both the Ferrari and Lola using goldtop's settings are OK when I can get the line and entry speed right. scared  My best time, 1:40.8 is with the Ferrari so I've chosen to drive the Yellow one.  Roll Eyes

Just had a quick look at this, as being a bank holiday I thought I might be able to slip in a little GTL race... but can't be bothered to download all those cars & try to learn/select one.

Time factors dictate that I'll join in again when I can pretty much jump in a car & know it already. Smiley

See you soon I hope

Tough choice. I really enjoy the Matra, but my best is 37.2, Alfa I can do 35.3, near enough two seconds faster
Can't drive the 908 at all, Am tempted to try the big ones, but want to run with a crowd not be in a race of 3.
ANyone definately taking the big cars?

Bar the 512, I've not tried them. The Alfa is much more fun and, oddly, faster than 512 for me.

Hey...I can't find a thread with car choice...so I expect free choice?

I come in Porsche 917K #20, do not know what others have chosen from http://www.gtlegends.dk/GTLDK/showthread.php?p=9926#post9926 yet, but I think Navin come in his 'Hippie' Porsche  Grin
