Brian , really sad news my condolences to you and your family  . Raced with Laurie loads of times in UKGTL , He always had bucket loads of enthusiasm and always a great pleasure to race with. He will be missed on the forum and on the grid. Rest In Peace Laurie. |

So sorry to hear the news Brian. Laurie was great to have on the grid, but he also put plenty of smiles on our faces off it with his now infamous brand of driver Kartoon art - https://www.simracing.org.uk/smf/index.php?topic=7609.msg136663#msg136663. He's almost been like part of the furniture since I started racing in this league and he'll really be missed. Rest in peace mate. Although I never had the pleasure of racing Laurie, it's always sad to hear of the passing of someone who shares our pastime and the comments already expressed suggest to me that Laurie was one of life's gentlemen.
