Not run a lap yet as I couldn't download it earlier. I'll check out gearing before the race.
Could be just that aliens exit corners faster than I can, but I think the Capri is only slightly faster
on a long straight than the 2.0, and the CSL is the same I thought..

Capri's faster I think but all that time on the limiter; It will surely blow-up?

It loses about 3% engine life per lap, that means at the start the engine will need to be well over 100% to be safe. Expect to see lots of Capris rapidly shuttling between the pits and the start line in an attempt to get a good motor reading. I've run engines down as far as 20% before now but of course the thing may blow up after a few laps, regardless of life remaining.

That was a tense race all the way through. Mostly because of the 3% loss of car health per lap.. Myself Pelle and Phil where all lifting a bit here and there to try and make it to the end. So the gap was constantly changing. I save on one lap... See that Pelle closed alot on that lap so the next I hold it to the floor for the whole lap to gain a bit of a gap again.. Went that way the whole way through the race so it was actually pretty engaging race. A little past 3/4 through I started having frame rate problems Shocked If it was any other track I would of been sunk for the win at least. Cleared up during the 2nd stop so I got lucky Smiley. In the end I was at 28% health so I think all Capri guys that finished did an excellent job managing their cars.. Congrats to Pelle for finishing 2nd and Phil for a solid 3rd place spot. Thanks fellas for the fun Wink..

Big Grats NRJ, this was a dream result for Team GTLDK...we took the first & second place, but what happened to third place  Cheesy Grats Phil  Cool
...& look at this: We in GTLDK have won Team Championship...no one can reach us - Big Thx & grats to you all.

This was really a race where it was about getting the engine to keep the entire race! In the middle of the race, I wrote '8' & I hoped everyone understood I was at lower revs.
The only fault I did the race, the second pit stop I took a lap too early & was also nervous about whether I had enough fuel for the rest of the race...but perfect  laugh

Good bit'o fun  Smiley
I seem to keep being in the wrong place at the wrong time in these races. Decent start, then got pushed to one side as people jostled for position,  allowing others to catch, turned in to the
hairpin behind team mate Phil, and was smacked into from behind by a spinning Porche who had
been hit at high speed himself by someone who seemed to be heading for Potsdam and wasn't
stopping for the race  Shocked . Took some aero damage but seemed right enough, worked out that
I would not be able to get away with one stopping, so took 2nd stop early with 10 to go
4th was as good as I could have managed as Phil was consistantly faster. 3rd and 4th was a good
result for the team though. Cool

Well, what can i say... this was really disappointing to me. Started from the back, but as the schnitzer power were emerging, i could overtake some cars before arriving at the 180° turn Cool Unfortunately, missed the braking point as i was taking a look at the rearview mirror. As a result i was about to make a BIG mess, therefore i could do no other thing than press ESC key just before wrecking other cars, race over for me  Embarrassed

Good start. Overtook two cars.
But when I was in the middle of the braking for the hairpin of 180 º was beaten by harley  Shocked , and unfortunately I hit phspok  Sad
I had to pit to repair the car and I lost 2 minutes.
From then on I dedicated myself to spin and tried to reach Tony. I overtook it, but 3 laps later I made a mistake and goodbye race.

Grats Navin , Pelle and Phil for the podium.
