5 secs quicker than me which kinda puts me off bothering with this one.

Don't see why Tony.  Mike, Ian and the crew will be five seconds in front of me but it still might give me Paulo, Geoffers and Matt to race with, unless they go alien on me too.

Will try to do some practice on the server tonight.

Probably I'll join this event!!! I've some trouble connecting to the server of our champ, and I think if I don't solve this issue soon I'll be happy to take my faithful 250 Berlinetta! 2 days ago I managed a 2.08.7 and I like Zandvoort so much!
Hope to see you on thursday Smiley

P.S. Nordschleife event date is switched to 30 June, and I would be glad, as I said before, to have a UK P&G team in this event even if I know you've got a busy calendar here. I wait some of your brave guys in the "green hell", or at least I hope so Smiley
Bye!

I've no troubles to pass my setup Hotkeys, but I'm even sure that it won't be so useful... I'm not a great car engineer... However you can try to see what happens Smiley

Clive, I was curious by what you said and managed time to do a few laps and I guess you are right,
I did 1:09.5xx, so lets have fun while the aliens are at the front having no fun at all.  Grin

Thank you for the setup Manteos, much appreciated  thumbup1

Tried it and discovered what I already suspected.......   my lack off talent puts me in the backend off the grid, not my setup  Grin
Mixed your setup with my own and got down to 2.10.500  Grin

What tickles me is the fact that both you and Clive use the 8/34 final ratio for this track. That seems odd to me ...... have you tried the 7/32 final ratio ?

l get almost the same topspeed and a better overall speed on the long straight.

I can't remember why but I think that my choice of ratio might have been more about getting 2nd and 3rd to somewhere useful, rather than the speed on the straight.

Can't say that I like the Berlinetta much.  It bites!

Difficult car to set up and not really sure how to make it go quick. I'll be on the server later this evening for some much needed practice.  Smiley

Not even turned a wheel here yet, or even driven the Ferrari, so I might be well off the pace.

Probably I have to try even with a 7/32 final ratio, but during the rest of the track the 8/32 seemed so good to me.
250 GTB it's a difficult car to handle and you have to drive it patiently when you get into the corner because of its understeer, than you have to make it turn out of the corners pushing with caution because of its power oversteer. In Zandvoort to make a good lap you need to drive "clean" without forcing the brakings especially with this car... Suspention pack and differential gear is so important aswell, but the first thing is to be concentrated on the right lines. If I'll find something better in my setup I'll let you know something about Smiley

Like Manteos said, clean and smooth pays huge dividends at Zandvoort.
