I knew this game wasn't that hard... you just need to practice without leaving the house for a few days while screening all your calls and have your gf stop talking to you  laugh ....

Looks like there was a bug on the results import.... It's saying Andy Purdie finished, surely that's not right!  Grin

haha, finally saw a chequered flag! Probably because I finally painted the DP in Legends colours  Tongue

Good quali getting a pb...... very suprised to have been 2nd and Paul hadn't quite repeated his alien 58s lap from before  Smiley

Gary was off almost immediately when the pace car went in and I was caught off guard. He continued to pull out about 0.5s / lap until pitting half-way and I had Michael 2 secs off my bumper the whole time! Drove my backside off keeping it at 2 seconds as well! but in the back of my mind the whole time I just wanted to finish, the fact I was looking good pace wise made me a little more nervous!  Lips Sealed

I pitted on lap 17 and forgot (even though it says?!) that it is 'added' fuel, not total fuel. I took on fresh set of tyres and over-filled and came out a little confused and in 3rd...... Dave and Michael were 10 secs up the road and Gary was behind.....  Huh I thought Gary had the race pretty wrapped up.... ul mate! And i didn't know what had happend to Paul  Embarrassed

My 2nd ever pitstop in iR and it shows you need to be well drilled, my tyres were down to 60% do I had to change otherwise I would have certainly fallen off the track in the latter stages!

I had to try and push to catch the top 2, but I came off at Canada.... almost identical to your spin Gary  Roll Eyes ! I came back on and Brendan had the foresight to give me some room as he came past  Wink .... I sat a few secs behind him not closing the gap until he made a mistake and I guessed he had the annoying aussie bloke on the radio! "Slow dawwwn maaaate, open a tinnie"

Cruised home to 3rd! All or nothing on the results for me recently, mainly nothing so well chuffed  Cool

Grats to Dave and Michael for spot on race-craft  Smiley

Thank God we go back to some decent tracks now

Unfortunately it's Infineon next so you must be referring to another series ;-). It's even narrower than Road America and not hugely suited to these big cars and much harder to overtake safely at. I can also see lots of people not finishing there either I'm afraid.

Infineon is quite a bit more technical (and interesting) to drive than RA but it is actually a fair bit wider. At RA you get about 4 car widths, which considering the high speeds and big braking needing is not enough imo.

I agree it's more interesting (or hard as us humans call it Grin). Doesn't come across as wide when you're in the cockpit thought, I guess cause of all the changes in direction. It's definately hard to find anywhere to stick it up the inside.

You tend to see Road America overtaking coming well in advance of a corner so in that respect it makes overtaking easier even if the track is quite narrow.

Infineon suddenly feels very narrow indeed when you've got a car alongside going into turns 2 and 3! Shocked

Can't stand Infineon, it's just cones in a car park really.

Road America I actually quite like.  I was disappointed to miss it.
