It must be the track Tongue Cars not too bad around most of the track but the high speed stuff like the kink its understeering too much, actually having to brake for the kink Huh Just using a modified 'Dave' setup. Reduced the front arb help give it better turn in though i have a habit of turning in too late and as i'm typically on the brakes means it wont turn any more, turning in early helps reduce it. Am wondering if a stiffer setup would help.

God Spanner, if you brake for the kink it is going to wake a few people up  Shocked A slight lift is the most you should need.

Use the grip Mark, use the grip.

As Paul says you don't need to brake, it will go a fair bit faster than you think round there.

I've updated my setup after the race I did yesterday, although the changes are minor and were only really precautionary after some practice laps showed some tyre temperature anomalies.

It's an official combination this week so there are the iR practice servers. I set one up a hosted one last week, same deal, and got criticised for that. You can't win  Undecided

Not that I'm that fussed either way, but you do need the Radical to join the official servers and I don't have it. I was otherwise engaged tonight as it was so I will have to try and get on early tomorrow.

After trying a few laps and abandoning ship last night, I was quite surprised to find myself really enjoying this combo tonight.

Cheers to Master Purdie (and Darren) for sharing a setup that seemed to really suit me - just hope I can make it back from the VXR day at Anglesey in time to make the main event!

Best so far is a 1:59.7 but I'd be surprised if the alien types aren't in the low 58's come qually.

After getting really down about it and Oily's pep talk ( 'Oi just get your finger out!' or words to that effect!) i've reduced my steering lock down to 300 as its felt like a bus at 400 and start playing more with the brake curve thingy. However the biggest thing as been Purdie's setup he posted up. Altogether though i managed to beat my best time so far by around 2 secs, getting a 2.02.3.

Compared to Daves it doesnt feel quite so soft and doesnt seem to roll about like the DP seems to like doing.

Haven't managed any practice unfortunately so will probably have to give this one a miss I'm afraid.

Have fun though!

Cheers, Ross.

Get plenty of practice in Spanner - looking touch and go for me, still in Wales! Been busy defending against Onslow-cole in me little Corsa VXR! Ok, more swerving in front of.

Sorry chaps, work intervened.  Blame the LIFFE technical team for being unable to find their arses with a map.
