It's a GeForce 7900 GS
CPU probably won't help either (AMD XP3200+)
lol

My PC trumps that (just).
GeForce 7950 GT & AMD 3800+  Grin

Clive, between us we must have the worst two PC's here... Time for us both to upgrade & enjoy fully what our hobby has to offer.

Interesting but how do I know that it is quicker than what I already have?
Because anything you bought would be quicker then what we've got Wink

Nope. 7800 GTX run in SLi mode in sheer desperation (saved the second one from the scrapheap).

Jolly good.
I guess that's a 1:05.3 and I'll just warn you that you will have to pedal harder because the massed ranks of VDA were on the server tonight doing 1:03s in the damn washing machines.

My times to date:
Lotus Cortina         1:05.844
Alfa Jnr                 1:05.430
Washing Machine    1:05.682
Mustang BSCC Gr2  1:05.977

Doesn't seem to matter what I drive I end up with a similar time.

PS  I really have had enough of these understeering, gutless, ankle biters with the joke gearboxes.  They are not even fun to hot lap for more than ten minutes.
I say let's have a 906-8 series.  Grin

I'm afraid I don't agree with my team-captain on this matter. The 906-8's are difficult to drive, and therefore the margin between the best drivers and amateurs like me will increase considerably.

The number of participants in events that require a lot of practice or natural talent, is bound to drop. There will always be a limited number of racers, who are actually able to fight for the podium positions, but even for them, it must be more fun wining a race with 25 participants rather than 12 !

LOL  at least we have next week to look forward to.

I've jus done a simulated roller skate race at Lime Rock and am happy to report that the "timed race" feature appeared to work.

On the other hand, starting the race at 1600 means that the last corner is a complete white-out [for me] and the straight and first corner are not much better.

If we have to trip over each other in these gutless wonders it would be nice to be able to see each other and where the track is. Just my thoughts, but I suspect that there will be quite enough shunts due to the different cornering capabilities of this range of cars without adding to it by playing blind-man's-buff as well.

I think it's about time that I got involved in these races. Since this will be my first SimRacing league race, I assume that I will have to choose a car from the Yellow group? If that's the case, then it's the Neptune Racing Mini Cooper 1275S  Smiley

LOL

Nah!

It's only your races on a Tuesday, when I can climb into the Cobra and E-Type, that are keeping me sane.  Well, sane.....ish!

BTW, it's the Arbarth "washing machine" that you want.
