GTL Fun Race

More scheduling a get together of the people with GTL than actual race, but if there is at least 4 of us we could have a race as follows:

ALL UKGTL'ers WELCOME!

Date: Thursday Oct 27th

Practice: 8:15pm (30 mins) - Get to show off your winning cars, but we should stick to single makes for the races (see below)
Qual: 8:45pm (15 mins)
Warmup: 9:00pm (2 mins)
Race 1: 9:02pm (20 mins) - STANDING START - Lotus Cortinas ONLY
Race 2: 10:05pm (20 mins) - STANDING START - Mini Cooper ONLY

Track: Nurburgring Mullenbach
Race Time: 18:00 (should have a nice twilight look  Shocked)

If the track is too titchy for ya then we can change it, just a get together for some fun.

I don't really like the minis either, but they are FWD so require a completely different technique. Best thing about the minis is that half the time they go round corners on 3 wheels.  Grin

Hi Guys like the look of the GTL cars ,especially the fords as I used to work on the bda escorts in the 70's and the capri's and some of the others in the 80,s.Some of the sports based cars were in Transnational GT's the formula I drove in mid 80's.gerald

Everyone signed onto the forums is entitled to join the fun races, as they are entitled to request entry to any of the leagues we run  Smiley

Please don't distribute the practice race passwords to others, anyone is entitled to join the forum and the passwords are then legitimately available to them.
