All members welcome

Practice 1: 19:20 (60 mins)
Quali 1: 20:20 (12 mins)
Race: 20:32 (16 laps ~40 Minutes)

This race series will feature reverse grid starting order based on average finish within this series. Since this is the 1st race in the series, a standard quali procedure will be used and the start order will follow your quali order.

Cars allowed: Shelby Daytona or #84 Shelby Cobra 289 Coupe
Track: Sebring GP (download)
Time of Day Setting: 13:00
Weather: Dry
Start: Standing

Tyre wear: 1X
Fuel consumption: 1X
Pit-stops: none required

Server: UKPnG
Password: see above

Championship standings

Notes:
(1) It's best if all drivers can make sure they are connected before the Qualifying session as drivers on track during qualifying will not see cars that join after they are on track until they go back to the garage.
(2) Please make sure you are fully aware of the SimRacing.org.uk Rules especially the rules about in-game chat messages.
(3) You will need to install Power and Glory v2 from here, 2.1 patch from here and enable terrain patch.
(4) Drivers are reminded that they must select ISDN as their bandwidth, otherwise the stability of every-one's connection will be reduced.
(5) P&G has no 'Pit Speed Limiter' function. You may go as fast as you like in the pits, but please exercise caution. Penalties will be handed out for causing contact in the pit lane. Use your best judgement when making your pitstop during the race.

uhhmmm.. I see a Sebring 2005 and a Sebring 2005 Classic track config.

Are we running the regular 2005 track?

I still don't have a handle on the "race ending early" complication so to simplify my life I changed the race distance to fixed laps instead of time.

It's much easier Mike & saves you worrying about which track has been created properly & which have had the admin bits rushed (most Wink). Keep it simple I say mate. thumbup1

Really like Sebring. When we did it last time I selected the classic track, but I think that was probably a mistake Undecided

First impressions of Sebring are:

a)  Couldn't they have painted something another colour besides light-blue or white?  Makes it damn difficult to see where you are.

b)  Those who say Silverstone is flat and featureless are in for a nasty shock!

c)  Just how are you supposed to get out of the pits without climbing over a hotdog stall and driving through someone's Winnebago!!!!!

So no reverse grid for this, race 1? Fine with that but, could we not reverse it on past results?

Had a phone call from Simon (brother) to say that he had set off from his pit trying to find the circuit and had fallen into the abyss!
