Moderator's Report

Nick Philips is a full time Division 2 driver and was not entitled to take an NGT car.

Server replay time: 202s

Truetom has made a very aggressive pass on Blaz into turn 1, which included some light contact; Blaz stays close behind through turn 2, and is then caught out by Tom's early braking into Lamy (turn 3).

In isolation, the turn 3 incident would normally warrant a three place penalty for avoidable contact on the first flying lap. However, I'm mindful of both the nature of TT's T1 pass, and Blaz's subsequent expectation that TT would brake later than he did for Lamy.

Server replay time: 204s

Mike Wrightson is following Luis Branco into Lamy; Luis is slowed up slightly by both Dan Minton overtaking him, and by the TrueTom/Blaz incident ahead, and Mike runs into the back of him, spinning Luis out.

On the first flying lap this would normally be a three place penalty; however, because of the incident ahead I believe Mike (who did not submit an incident report) would not have anticipated how much Luis was going to have to slow up in the corner.

Server replay time: 307s

Fozz is caught out slightly by Luis coming back through the field and has a moment in T1 which leaves him slow and off the racing line. As he moves back over onto the normal racing line, Jakob is trying to use his greater momentum to get alongside, and there is some light contact as Fozz moves left.

  • Racing incident

Server replay time: 1673s

Dan Minton's Lister has caught Mark Jonzo's 911 to lap him, but runs into the back of him entering the Esses, spinning Mark out.

  • Dan Mintonpenalty — rear ending Mark Jonzo — 2 places lost

Server replay time: 2527s

Mark Jonzo is lapping Demonic Dan (longskater1969) going into turn 1. Mark passes Dan just as they reach the braking zone and starts to move back over before he's fully cleared Dan's Z3M; there is contact and they both go off, Mark retiring.

Had Mark stayed right until the end of the braking zone, Dan would've allowed him to go through even though he would've had to take T1 much slower than normal from being off line. Dan reported the incident but asked for it to be treated as an "advice only" report.

  • Mark J (Mark Jonzo)penalty — contact with Demonic Dan — 2 places lost
For advice only - unreported by victim, so penalty disregarded

Server replay time: 2548s

Dan Minton has run wide in turn 1, and Luis sees the chance to get alongside and have a go into turn 2. There is some light contact in the turn.

  • Racing incident

Hi guys I think Jameera was in the Yellow Ferrari 360 in front of me with a BM , we were having a good dice for lots of the race . However whenever I follow him I always screw my tyres up and can not stay with him. But all in all it was a good race. Apologies to the morgan that hit me in the front after I span at the chicane hope it was not to much of a handicap. cheers gerald

I kept the speed at 75 mph at all times when possible. Can't see I can do anymore or less  Huh

No i don't think you did Jon. Sitting behind you in 2nd pos it felt like a quick lap, but whenever I looked down at the speedo it was nigh on 75mph so just the speed we like it. I think it maybe that Estoril feels quick at that speed, probably more so for the NGTs and G3s as some of the corners in a GT can be done at 75mph easy in a GT but not in the other cars?

The rules say the leader should aim for a target speed of around 75mph (120km/h) on the straights. Looks like Jon was going quite fast through the tight corners as well which spread out the field to much. I think it would be wise to slow down through those tight corners to bring the pack together for a nice start.

True but it was not an overtaking move, you were just on the outside in the gaggle of cars at the start. At least that's how its recorded in my brain at present, though I could be wrong.

Never said it was an overtaking move and your record in the brain is wrong. I shall prescript you a "Replay" medicine. Wink  Smiley

I guess we'll know for next time...Well maybe the div2 lads can take heed.  On tracks where there's plenty of tight bends we could have a quick chat before race and just say to chill it a little bit more before the start finish straight. Dunno myself  Undecided
Catch ya'll later anyways

I remember struggling very hard to keep up with the NGT runners during the pace lap in a Season 0 race at Estoril when I took the Vertigo.

Congrats to the rest of Ze insane penguins for team Champ... Wonder how TYF will reward us for bringing glory to ZIP? It's been a while since we've heard from him now.

Yes, I miss the big Thief, ehm, Tyf, also.  Wink
