I think that we had a largely single file parade lap and a two row start, which was just about right.

If I had tried to insist on two rows all around the lap then Paulo would have had me on the grass at a couple of places.

On a parade lap it is insane and ridiculous drive two rows, that is when the drivers warm the tires and brakes and need space to sway. I never saw a parade lap (in real life) with a two row driving. That's why I was confortable to drift a bit because I didn't get near the driver in front aswell enough, to jeopardy his driving.
Common sense then put all the drivers one or two corners before S/F (depending of track layout) in the usual and fair two row.

It's been a week for un-popular circuits cos last night some of us UKGTL guys took part in an GTLDK event at Fundidora Park which is an atrocious circuit to race on.
On a happy note though, Pribeiro, Bill and I all finished well.  Smiley

Exactly right Pribeiro. That is the way it is done in club racing too. The field seperates a bit to allow for tire and brake warming and then closes up 2 by 2 within the last 2 or 3 corners.
