3 of 17 is nearly 20%, that's quite a swing Ha, only two now. How'd you like those Apples eh? Maggie Thatcher, Winston Churchill, Your boys took one hell of a beating!!!! Sorry, did I actually post that? Back to 3 now. Those apples tasting a bit sour now?

Anyway 2, 3 or even 4 is hardly a massive landslide for change is it? None of my favourite cars are even in the list but I'm acclimatising to the car other people wanted last time and am just starting to enjoy it. I don't see why other people can't make the same effort.

Although the DP started well, the last two races have had 13 and 12 drivers respectively. That's not enough drivers on the grid.
My job is to provide series that are fun, competitive and challenging. Part of that is full grids.

But you are assuming that the car was the reason for the low turnout, when it was a tricky circuit not popular with all, towards the end of the season, in the summer and on the night of a world cup semi final.

I can only base the decisions on what's in front of me.
If "if's and but's were pots and pans" - we'd all be Delia Smith eh?

Iain, you have the problem that whatever you pick people aren't happy, I think we can all see that. There are two camps though, some seem unhappy whatever we drive, others muck in and learn to drive other cars. You do run the risk of low grids from swapping and changing all the time too though. I'd have preferred to stick to the Skippy, I'm happy with the DP and will drive the Radical but I don't have unlimited time and don't want to learn new cars every season. You clearly have a difficult job but please be wary of "throwing the baby out with the bathwater" Regards Gary

If "if's and but's were pots and pans" - we'd all be Delia Smith eh? But what is in front of you is not 'the DP is unpopular'. It is 'fewer drivers turned up for 2 races due to a number of reasons, including being on holiday' - hint

I didn't say the DP was unpopular per se, I just said that from I can see from the poll and opinions expressed that the Radical looks like it may well be more popular.

Only for next season. If we have a season of Radical I would vote against it for the season after. Like I said if it was a straight desert island question I would take the DP everytime, but it's what do we want for next season, not which is your favorite car, so that's how I voted, but I would race either.

Come on guys, you are putting Pops in an impossible position. Some want to race the same car every season, others fancy a change. He can't please everyone!
We have raced the DP this season and the Dallara the season before. While I love driving both of these cars I'm prepared to try something different. Like most of you I have a garage full of cars not being used. I must admit, a couple are complete lemons (Jetta is one), but the majority offer good, close, fun racing.
We've had a poll. People have voted, and it seems the Radical is the slight favourite. End of discussion as far as I'm concerned..
Radical for Season 4!!!

I don't think that the issue Darren.
I've stated enough time here that I'm happy to move to the Radical. What I'm against is moving car after every season, so if we have the Radical next season I'm fully expected the same comments around race 5 of "don't like this car/track".
I'm arguing not to pander to the "this is rubbish must change" comments every time because you risk alienating those of us who do turn out each time.
I'm not yet fully on top of the DP but I'm really enjoying learning it and would love to have another season getting to know it better.
Regards Gary

I understand what you are saying Gary, but under the new proposed system, each Srouk season will last 2 iRacing seasons (9 races); giving everyone time to learn and adapt to the new cars.
With so many different opinions the fairest solution is to always put car selection up for a vote.
The majority should decide, not the vocal minority....

I don't get it... There are always the iR official races to run your other cars in! It's not like you can't get to race and use them, time allowing of course. I personally like to drive the V8 Supercar and the Mustang and those haven't been taken on by SroUK but I can still get my fix and drop in and out of seasons and practices at iR with no problem and get some use out of the cars I enjoy. Pops is in the impossible position of trying to please everyone and it's not going to happen. Lets be honest most of the cars are good in iRacing and if it's the Radical or DP thats chosen and cars are rotated every season I don't see the big problem.
