What happens if v3 arrives before the end of our current series?

It sounds gobsmakingly good and I won't be able to run both side by side.

I saw that UKP&G champs will finish on 2 September, so I wouldn't be worried about that Clive... I bet on the end of September for the first release of v3.0... that's only a mine prediction anyway...

I'm even sure that this will be the last season for P&G 2.1 here, it wouldn't make sense to start another season on September with the 2.1... I would like to prepare a final challenge with the 2.1 during the first half of September to celebrate his retirement Smiley

If it was released today it would be perfect timing for us. Other leagues could spend a couple of months finding all the faults & the creators work on the inevitable patch while we continue to enjoy the excellent & working v2.1 Cool

I'm with Legzy, but if timing is such that we complete our season I'd like to see if Paul knows of the release date. Depending on the release date, we'd likely do some mid season testing with it by hosting a number of fun races. If it is released mid season we will continue with version 2.1 to close out the season.

LOL Legzy, you're awfully right... I spoke yesterday with Aris in TS, putting him some pressure  Grin Grin.

Unfortunately it seems that the car physics are ready, but they waste a lot of time regarding the 3d models, cockpits definition (like put the visible ignition key  Huh Huh Huh) and something else...
Starting again from scratch, this work need a lot more time. As you see, it won't be necessary to insert the GTL DVD to install P&G 3, cause they re-designed all the previous models included in the 2.1... Maybe now it will be easier for the people who have only the GTR2 DVD to install P&G, but it costs several months more then it would be needed in advance I guess.

I think that with the updater the GTLW has prepared, it would be easier to correct some bugs, and I guess that if they pull out what is ready it wouldn't be a bad move. Obviously this is my thought, but it doesn't match with Aris thought, or it doesn't match with the GTLW crew thought, to be more precise...
However, we can't do so much... We have to wait, and hope in a soon release Smiley.

Now my italian P&G champ is finished, and I finally can race again with you fellas! I will reinstall the P&G 2.1, and try to be prepared for your next Thursday race. I'm not sure of it, but I'll try, if I have no soccer match to play on Thursday..

Let's see what happens! For the moment I say hello to all the UKP&G guys, and I hope to cross the lines with you as soon as possible!

Cheers guys Smiley!
