When I chose these circuits, I was looking for simple tracks that would be uncomplicated and easy to learn. I used the small circuit maps on the Track Database as my guide.

I have just downloaded Debden.............boy!!! they don't come much simpler than that!!!  lol

I think that it could do with a really heavy racing groove, because there are very few features that can help you pick out the corners.

Is anyone up to creating a groove that could be imported by everyone to "show the way"?

Creating a groove from scratch the Last time I tried with the tools that were available was a very time consuming and tedious process. Not sure about nowadays.

You need to get hold of the centre line file, as I recall.

Yes or make your own. As far as I know only Guru used to make center line files for various tracks back then, so unless there's some tool that does it automatically it's a lot of manual writing.

I think I've got just about all the centreline files available and Debden isn't one of them unfortunately...

Yeah, Guru stopped making CLN files long time ago and I'm not aware of anyone else doing it.

I guess we just have to imagine and pretend it has rained the day before, so all rubber has been washed away.  Grin

I don't know why the track is causing you problems Nicky? It worked fine for me Undecided

 But if it is causing problems and does not work on the server then it is no good.  Sad

Thanks to Nicky for trying to host the Debden track last night. Also for trying to set up Carthage for a 67 race as a last minute alternative.

 I might have misled Nicky when I told him it would be listed as "Tripoli", I should have said "Tunisia"  oops

It also looks like I might have selected some circuits that do not function correctly on servers etc. Debden being the first  Undecided

I will try to download and test the rest of the circuits in the list over the next few days. If anyone else has tried a circuit and has anything to report please post here and we can delete/replace any tracks that might cause us problems.

Clive, you might find these two links useful. Lists online problems people have found with specific tracks. Can't be taken as gospel of course;
