Does it means that I can pick the Elan as well?  Cool!
I can confirm that under the current series rules, yes you can turn up driving that & cruise along for the win far too easily with no one for company (in what would surely be a very dull race for a man of your driving talent) taking away the chance of others getting the chance to partake in & enjoy a fair fight for the win drive the Elan PR.

Hopefully that came across as quite subtle to anyone reading Wink

Well. I am so far just 0.3 secs quicker in the Elan than the Aston after 9 laps each.
I expect that would be a bigger gap with practice, but I like the Aston, not tried the Jag
though It is probably better than the Aston, for most people.
Tyre wear may be a factor, but if Mr Brown doesn't use tyres too much I will be driving him whatever the pace.

Maybe a little teaser:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BkxxpMI__5o

The real track seems to be a bit more bumpy than the GTL version.

Thanks Tony.  thumbup1  No need to worry Legzy et al - I can only do a 55 in the Elan, compared to 57.6 in the E Type and 57.9 in the Healey 3000.  I'll be going faster through the dangerous sections so more likely to write off the Elan than either E Type or Healey.  Roll Eyes Huh

I can't see the practice server, even though it appears to be running if I log in to it
If there's no one on it, I will restart it.

EDIT: Ok, restarted UKGTL session and now it shows up fine.

Well my best race time from last time we were here was 53.8 in the Aston, so will be interesting to see what
non Aliens get in the Jag and ELan

53.2 is my best in the Neal

Cheesy

Well, you guys know me better, I usually pick the 'supposed' slower cars to race.
Call it a challenging for me, so no Elan for me.  Wink

54.3 in an E-type to 54.5 in the Elan - so it will be difficult decision for tomorrow's race  Smiley

For me:
Elan = 53.0
Jag = 53.5
DB4 = 53.9
Healey's = Sorry, ran out of time

Interestingly, if I was able to drive both the Elan & DB4 in this race, I'd lap myself in the DB4 on the very last lap laugh

Really good track this.
