Haven't really been a fan of the Race series, but stumbled on this little gem.....

http://www.nogripracing.com/details.php?filenr=28350

Yeah I know....underpowered fwd car in an unpopular (for here anyway) format. But the quality of the ffb and physics really surprised me Shocked

Very poor FWD mod. Car never feels like it's FWD as it grips and grips and then grips some more. The key in FWD is to focus on the exit and not want to get on the power too soon. With this, you just drive it like a RWD, as the fronts won't spin under power and the rear is as planted as it can be, so you don't have to be afraid of turn in oversteer. Something FWD cars normally suffer from.
Cockpit looks awefull and the overall thrill to me is very limited. I don't mind slower cars, but they atleast need to be enjoyable to drive, or atleast make you have to focus in the corners.

The standard FWD cars in the game (WTCC) are a lot better in every way and will quickly show why these physics are off.

I would imagine, that the reasons I was pleasantly surprised by this mod (being fwd, I had low expectations) have all just been listed above by Jeff Smiley

So you like the mod because the physics don't make any sense? Tongue

lol.
I just don't worry about it, I either enjoy driving a car or I don't.  Smiley
