Although having said that, having things like glass or bodywork that can cause punctures or damage to your car would be pretty neat. Grin
When was the last time you saw a real racing car get a puncture from broken glass then?  The only piece of glass on any modern racing car is usually the windscreen and that'll be laminated/toughened.

The damage model is now good enough to be going on with I think.  The key thing is that there's a penalty for crashing, getting it to be realistic would require far more detailed car models than we currently have.  Racing Legends come to mind...

Sounds engine & graphics engine will be great from a cosmetic point of view but the new tyre model is the only thing which has the ability to make a step change to the sim as it opens up enormous possibilities for variable grip under different conditions.  Grip build up, proper transitions to night, even better FF, marbles etc.

Another update coming tomorrow

Rev limiter back on the Lotus no doubt but I wonder what else. Throttle cut even with auto-blip on for cars that have it with a bit of luck.

Well the 79 is the only thing in the update, no new exe or anything.

did they enhance the graphics a bit? Now that i've jumped back into the Skip for season 3, the game looks better than I remember it looking
