There are a few reasons why I still prefer GTL. One of them is that there are far less DNFs than in P&G.

I was one of the guys that jumped the start and went to pits at the end of lap 1. On lap 2 I went wide at the left uphill and crashed into the barrier (2 wheels on it and 2 wheels on the grass), managed to rejoin the race almost in last place, but still carried on.
Hats off to Dave, because his car lost front splitter in front of me, however kept driving untill the end.

Don't like the track, even less the car, don't practice at all, therefore I'm quite happy with the final result.

Cheers

Thanks Pribeiro, it certainly didn't help my pace for the first PnG online race understeering like that, nor did the stuttering my PC was suffering.  Have now turned down the detail and also installed 'End It All' which I saw suggested somewhere until I can upgrade from this P3.  Hopefully I will be more competitive next time, though I can't complain at 7th even if it was largely due to avoiding a jump start and the T1 mayhem!  I had noticed in off line practice that the lights stayed off between red and green here, whereas the other tracks seem to go straight from red to green.

I was involved in one incident on the last lap when I was being lapped and stayed very wide at T1 to let through 2nd and 3rd cars only to be punted off.  On looking at the replay I see it was Mark and Guiseppe who were having a tough scrap for 2nd and the avoidance of my slower car as Guiseppe made a move on the inside of Mark resulted in all of us going off and Matt taking advantage for 2nd place.  Sorry if my slowness caught you out but I did my best!

Anyway, good fun and looking forward to the next..

I had noticed in off line practice that the lights stayed off between red and green here, whereas the other tracks seem to go straight from red to green.

That would be why I got a stop/go then. I thought it was the modern "go when the red lights go out" style start. Was wondering why that happened. Roll Eyes

Did my stop/go end of lap one, carried on for a bit longer but couldn't control the car properly in race setup. Sorry to whoever I spun in front of at T1/2. Embarrassed
