No doubt by now Darren has already taken my setup and done a 1:02.8 but I left one in the session with an unrepeatable 1:03.1 to aim at. Grin

Your setup?  I wasn't aware you shared one.  Besides I have enough problems driving my own.  Grin

Believe me I tried to beat your time but fell short with a 1:03.190.  Was up 0.3 seconds at one point only to throw it away.  Was getting tired towards the end and making too many mistakes...  I'll try again tomorrow.  Wink

Another good combo...  Going to be difficult to keep concentration for the full 60 mins though.  Undecided

Hmm, I'm only about a second off Dave here Cheesy  Though I ran only with race fuel.

I'll settle for a steady run to the finish tommorrow since I won't have much warmup time at all Sad

Looks like we're interestingly close on pace Mike.  I've not done much low fuel running yet though and it might come down to qually.

Any news on the race length Pops?  I'm guessing 56 or 57?

56 it is!

I enjoyed the session last night (although I enjoyed Phillip Island too and look what happened there Roll Eyes), it certainly doesn't pay to be too over-ambitious into the first and last turns.

I might sit out of qualifying tonight and start at the back, my confidence is pretty low at the moment after, what I think is, my worst run of results ever Embarrassed

I had a great result in the IndyCar last night (9th again), so once again I'm very well prepared for driving the Radical tonight. Grin

Gutted!!!

I just couldn't do a decent lap in qually, but luckily found myself in 3rd on the grid surrounded by some fast people.  Thinking I was going to get swamped at the start, and knowing how difficult it would be to pass, I decided to take a gamble.  The plan was to fill up with fuel, use one set of tyres and then do a quick splash and dash towards the end.

This plan instantly went up in smoke when I managed to get a jump on Gary at the start, and soon pulled a 6 second lead on the chasing pack.

As my heavy fuel load burned off my times gradually came down, but not fast enough to keep up with Dave's pace.  I pushed hard to keep the gap down below 6 seconds so that I might be able to jump into the lead via the pit stop.  But in the end I pushed too hard...  Coming out of T3 my back wheel hit the kerb which half spin me towards the wall.  Even though I slowed down below 10mph the damage was severe and my race was over. Sad

The last 3 SRouk races have promised so much, but I've failed to deliver each time.  :'(

Back to the middle of the pack for me.  angel

Waste of an hour.  Should have had 5th or 4th but a late-race spin cost me all focus and I crashed out with 2 to go.

Hate this track with the Radical.
