I like both the radicals and the caterhams so I'll be up for what ever you decide.
But I have to ask... is there any way they could be ballanced to run together?  I'm happy to help with any testing ect and I'm fairly handy with my pc so could probably learn and help out with the ballancing as well....

My plan was to choose the tighter/shorter club type tracks for the cats and give the rads more room on the faster tracks. I think keeping it simple at this stage will be the most likely way to attract drivers, but maybe this can be something for the future if it's popular.

For me the main idea behind resurrecting R07 was to provide a simple fun format for a night that we don't currently race here. With new versions of sims on the horizon (rF2 GTR3 etc), I don't really expect R07 to have much longevity here. What it might do is open up another nights racing and maybe even attract some new drivers which has got to be good for everyone.

It's not in the menu - they show up as an additional tick box option at the top of the relevant Radical pages within the game. IMHO they are an improvement over the SimBin Radicals.

TC

Not there either :'(

Mine are here...

C:>Program Files>Steam>steamapps>[username]>race 07>GameData>Teams

They should have their own seperate folders "RMi_RadicalSR3" and "RMi_RadicalSR4"

Incidently, the engine sound on the SR4 is weird, you might want to use the SR3 sound for both Wink

Are you going to recreate a real Cat 7 series?

Wednesdays don't suit me ideally as I already do some races in GPL, but would consider alternate weeks perhaps, count me as an interested party Smiley

Is that just a case of copying accross the .aud file and renaming it?

That SR4 sounds is 'weird'

Yes, copy the SR3 sound file and rename to SR4.

As there's a lot of talk about Radicals, some may be interested in THIS.

Simon Tilling drives frequently at Castle Combe, where I do some marshalling, and his site has some good information on the SR3.  Also, there are some great on-board videos.

I saw these last year when I spent a very enjoyable day at the Combe  Cool

Was invited to the UKSaabs day there next weekend to stretch the recently lengthened legs of my 9000, but I've bottled out Roll Eyes It's a quick track and I don't fancy rearranging the bodywork on my pride 'n' joy  Smiley

you don't HAVE to go fast  laugh

Too tempting though.  I was always tempted to take my bike there but couldn't stand the thought of trashing it in a moment of red mist!

I made it to the corn field while spinning out in the wet a few years ago. So glad I didn't got the other way!

Bike racing at Combe tomorrow for me to go and watch Smiley
