ooohh! So potentially a dryish (but very cloudy) race then & hot weather, so if we do see rain, it will likely dry quite quickly. We shall see.

is overcast a dry race or a rain race?
Dry. However, due to the forecast having the possibility of being slightly inaccurate, light rain is possible but, definitely not normal rain or heavy rain. I hope this helps.

One of my best performances in a while, only one mistake... ran wide on corner exit to start the long straight, it lost me three places & about 5 secs. Other than that, it was pretty much spot on for me & a reward of a comfortable 5th & a rare contribution of points to team Oldie's tally Where did you finish again Lazlow? I like that track, it's very challenging & hence I think we saw a few mistakes from people we wouldn't expect tonight (TT/Spanner ), but I think that helped me to focus better. Proved quite tricky to overtake in these cars though, I followed Lazlow for 15+ laps in close quarters & found it very difficult to set up good passing chances, though I'm sure I could have done some last minute dive bomb braking maneuvers if I'd fancied Well done all & see you at the Mid-Ohio sprint next week or the Le Mans endurance the week after that. I need a rest now

Have to apologize to Spanner. Seems like I missed my braking point or maybe Astons braking point was just a bit sooner than for C6R. Hit his back and after I let him pass we were at the back of the grid. Sorry Spanner, a dumb thing to do. It wouldn't happen if I didn't make a mistake a bit earlier and lost my hard earned quali position. Anyways, was determined to get a bit higher up the grid and managed to pass several drivers. Pitted with the last drops of fuel and took softs with just enough fuel to the end. Lost 5 sec in the pits, the crew was standing like a group of statues. Came out just behind MJ and softs did the job - sorry MJ. Legzy was too far, but I have to be satisfied with a bit undeserved 6th place. Bad luck for H@l and yes, Pete was missing. Don't let that happen again. Edit: the track is nice, not easy and keeps you alert constantly, good choice in my view. Now, if there would be some rain...

Was a great race against Berger. First laps I was behind him in 2nd but I was able to follow him under 2 seconds, so I thought maybe he was saving tyres and wanted to keep them in pitstop like me, to avoid being leapfrogged. But it actually was me being fast enough for him this time although still surprised cause I was saving a bit of tyres myself in 1st stint. He was less than 2 seconds in front when he came in, he changed tyres. I came in when the 135 litres were almost finished, I put fuel for the 43 laps I expected by then, and rejoined 10 seconds in front of Berger. He was right behind me with 3 laps to go, I thought that was gonna be very hard to defend from him, but I was focusing on the exit of slot corners and he didn't have a change. He then made a mistake and I was able to win comfortably. I waited for 5 seconds for the timer to run out and complete the race with 42 laps, would've been 43 though if I kept going fast. Grats to Berger, API and all finishers cya in next race!

Good race, had someone to play with for almost every lap. Was chasing MJ at first, and trying to keep in front of Craske, Lost pace a bit, and after pits was chasing McFids who was just fast enough to make passing awkward slipped past eventually, but only with some shoving, so moved over to let him by, I was shoved out of the way quite hard earlier as someone was making up places so maybe a bit of door banging is normal, but I thought I should move over anyways. He did a lovely spin near the end which allowed me to get past legitimately My system doesn't seem setup to take replays, so I am waiting and hoping..... Oh, and It was just the sort of wet race I like.

I blew it and did not calculate the time zone correctly I found the Ford GT was super for this track. I was clocking 1:23's with it dry and in the low 1:30's wet. Would have been fun. Will be ready for Lemans

Too bad Beckham...maybe next time we'll have the chance of some wheel to wheel action!! Unlucky to H@L as well...looks like it's time to beat up on your broadband supplier mate...or get a new one!! Difficult race for me...I found that my tyres were going off really quickly, which left the Lambo squirming all over the track....I couldn't keep up with the amount of times I locked up going into a corner...made for some quality sideways action though . Back to the drawing board I think, to try and find a setup thats easier on the tyres. Great drive last night Legzy....that had to be one of the best GT1 races you've had so far? You must of been inspired by the cars quality paint job....I do like that Ford GT!! Congrats to API as well....don't know where your getting your pace from?? You'll be challenging for "Alien" status soon Well done to everyone else who finished last night....bring on Le Mans!!!

good tough race last night. Qually didnt go to plan as everyone seemed to find extra pace and my stiff setup didnt seem to like the slightly damp conditions, qualied 10th with work to do ! Race start went well, dicing with several people including 3 abreast with spanner and Matt? down one of the straights and we all got through cleanly considering there was that tricky off camber tight right hairpin at the end of it, good driving all Got myself upto 6th for a while, making no mistakes despite the tricky track grip which made the slow corners blinking hard work in the fat vette. When i made my stop my closest rival was TT who was 16.7 secs behind me i think but he somehow made up all that time and emerged right behind after his own stop. I tried to fend him off but his car had so much more grip on his softs and i soon let him through rather than have a ding or hold us both up, especially with two team oldie cars ahead for him to chase like a whippet Kept my head down and clean mid 24 laps consistently enabling me to close on and then get past two others who had got ahead after the stops and managed to keep Lazlow 4secs behind me for last 10mins to grab 7th over the line. Not bad but had hoped for better with my pre race mid 23's race pace that just didnt materialise on race night. We did a red bull and bagged some valueable points whilst off the pace of the oldies here. Not a big fan of this track but made for a new challenge.

Nice but uneventful race last sunday!
Well, in fact my race seemed to be a formula one kind!
After the start, I could easily keep the pace with the three in front... during a quarter of lap or so.
After that, and seeing the aliens on their spacecrafts marching in, i had a distant fight with Legzy but I couldn´t see him in all the race, but from lap one to last, the distance was on a gap between 4 an 8 seconds, nice consistency!
And... that´s all! I don´t remember to have done anything else!
On every case, very enjoyable one after a couple of months doing some iracing. And is a relaxing moment when you see that no one get your money after the race!!!!
Very nice league, great job, pals, see you on the next!!
