Mid 25's with fuel for me, but having issues keeping it on the grey stuff so I don't see me being very competitive tonight, will be happy just to finish

Well that was cracking. I only managed one overtake & nobody got past me... but boy was it intense! Lovely lovely track to drive, makes you work all the way. Was always attacking a driver or having to fend off. Loved the scrap with GT , never quite managed to really threaten Spanner & only had one half a chance at NSFast, but it was just presure all the way Great drive all & a top Team Oldie Result.

Hard work that was, big sorry to Peter Alnut who I spun round towards the end of the race. I didn't think that I had hit you thought you just span but looking at the replay I guess I did so really sorry.
a grid drop to behind Peter would be fair and accepted.

Don't worry about it, a previous incident had caused my problems. My rear tyres were over heated by spinning and with the wear at well over 20 I couldn't drive at any pace until the temps came back down but at least my SR is still intact

Nice Race. I had spanner or nsfast in the mirrors the whole race and made only one mistake. That was from trying too hard to keep up with API and Lazlow. They were miles ahead until Lazlow made a mistake. 2nd to 4th was very close at the end there.

Always enjoy this track and tonight's race for me was one of the most enjoyable I've had in GTR2. Decided to ditch the slightly silly Exige at the last minute and switch to the 997 which bought me a couple of seconds straight away and a better than expected grid position. Was very intense trying to cling on to the back of Spanner with Legzy 1 to 2 secs behind for the first few laps and a slight error was enough to let him through. Chasing back I pushed too hard and lost it at the top hairpin losing 4 or 5 places Then gained a couple back late on with the tangle at the bottom of the hill. Congrats to pody and all who took part - great race And oh yes, a gratuitous plug for the pre season cats event this Wednesday. Hope some of you can make it https://www.simracing.org.uk/smf/index.php?topic=8325#event2327

Jolly good race. Qualed better than expected, was running well until I tried 1st to get the back round, and overdid it, lost a few places but was still in touch, great scraps with Craske who eventually got bored with me zooming up behind at places, and let me through, very sporting that, I sort of pulled away, but not much, and then came up behind others, eventually after battling with a recovering MJ caught Pete's struggling Viper, not sure whether you were already spinning or I helped, but I was caught out by having to lift so hard, if i touched sorry. I waited anyway and lost all the places I had worked to get back, then Craske fell off near the end, and I got one back Good hard racing all the way though, Don't really like the track, it's too "awkward" funny cambers etc, but it does produce some good racing.

On the contrary I don't enjoy this track, didn't in the PnG race and not in GTR2. I bet I wouldn't like it in iR. Experienced some lag even in the warmup lap and it continued at the start. Was scared I'd hit anyone and didn't want to be close to any car. Never had the grip anyway and soon spinned when I tried to push. Ended last and tried to keep up with Apex. When he froze I was right after him. Got some damage and I guess it didn't help my driving any as I couldn't keep up with anyone. Looking at the comming tracks, I don't expect the me/Mosler combo to be doing very well. Grats to pody.

Now that was an extremely intense race ! I felt quite confident coming into this race and really thought i had a good chance of a top 5 finish. Practise backed that up and i hadnt seen anyone quicker than me in any random online sesh throughout the week. Ya bunch of sandbaggers !! ...suddenly in qually 6 or so of you find ridiculously quick times in the low 23's I was staggered as ive put in quite a few laps this week for a change, and never came near getting a mid to low 23 with only my very best laps doing a 24.0. I felt very miffed quallying a lowly 10th and was sure some of you must have been cutting the chicane to get that low a time :'( Race was just constant hard racing, chasing and being chased for the whole race length, never a moments relief. Spent most of my race chasing Legz and GT ahead for 6th-8th places but despite not putting a wheel wrong i just could not close on them. Late in the race GT had a wobble at the final turn and it was enough to put me off so i ran wide, allowing a great driving Pete in his viper to finally get ahead of me after chasing me for half hour or so. Then with worn tyres a few laps later Matt closed on me and got past at the back of the circuit, meaning i'd lost 2 places in a few laps But tragically for them and great for me with 3 of us steaming into the hard braking zone at the end of the back straight, they came together and i meandered past the spinning pair to grab a very hard earned 7th. It felt a small consolation for so much effort, but good nonetheless I just dont understand where several of you found so much pace as i could see no obvious advantage watching onboard with some. Great driving and great tough race.
