Just occasionally things go right Grin

Just going on that point, i never expected to do that time in qually, best i'd managed uptill then was a mid 24. However the level of pressure isnt quite the same when practising on your own. Your clearly not pushing hard enough MJ! Admitedlly sticking softs on the z4 does seem to transform it but i hadnt run with low fuel and i find that does have an impact.

First few laps were more about watching GT and Legzy behind but getting into it after a few laps started focusing ahead with H@L and nsfast. After H@L got past nsfast i think i spent the next 30mins stuck to the back of nsfast. I seemed a bit quicker through the slower sections but there was never enough of a difference to gain being in the same cars.  I guess your were on soft as towards the end you seem to really struggle and only managed to get past when he went too deep in the last RHer. With H@L dropping back i thought i might have had a chance but just couldnt get nearer.

What an intense race Cool

Looking at the comming tracks, I don't expect the me/Mosler combo to be doing very well. Undecided
I'm not so sure TT. The Mosler is an "extreme" car IMO & while it was never likely to be a perfect match for Mid-Ohio, places like Castle Combe & Zeltweg (A1 Ring) it'll rock!

Anyhow, I'm actually quite pleased with the balance of the GTC cars. At each race I think there's been a good mix & we've seen five or six different models finish in the top seven every race. There is a hint of a slight advantage with the 997, but I'm not sure it's worth an new mid-season physics pack.

Please do comment if anybody strongly disagrees?

I never liked this track, Legzy and seems like my car strongly agrees with me. Tongue Will do me best of course over the next courses. Wink

Not sure if the 997 is too quick  angel

I was a couple of seconds quicker here in the 997 than I was in the Exige. But....I was a couple of seconds quicker at Barber in the Exige than in the 997. I also reckon the 997 will struggle at A1 Ring and snetters.
