I've knocked about 0.5s off my PB and put in a 1:21.4 this afternoon I'm finally getting to the point now where the manual transmission is requiring less concentration too.

I hate this track. Current PB is 1.24.8 with a in theory fastest lap of 1.23.2, although what my race pace will be I have no idea. I always feel like I am driving over the limit at this track Ian

Had some spare time tonight so joined in for a little practice.
Messed around with setups and trying to find the limits again. Thought I was doing well and when I put the effort into it, with low fuel I could run consistent mid 1.19s.
Heavier fuel load did not seem to make a massive amount of difference. Maybe 0.3sec once car is up to speed.
I then did a qualifying session for the Intel series that went a little wrong. 1.19.6 and I was surprised how far I'm behind drivers I usually match and drivers who normally are a bit off me.
Lots like I'm well off the game even though I'm back up near my old PB.
Just watched the Intel race and John Prather, Brad Davies and Richard Towler were racing. Towler was damaged from an earlier bump, but the other two were usually anything from mid 19s to 20s, so maybe my race pace is not too bad. Their race was only 20 laps which is not that much more fuel than qualifying.
However, not sure I'm going to make tomorrow night.

I shaved a few more 10ths off my PB and got down to 1:21.1 after a frustrating start to the session. Let's hope I can get somewhere near that tonight.

Sorry guys I got dragged out to the pub for the football.
After watching the first half I'd be better off racing. On saying that the beer is good.

I am SO sorry. Obviously I set a standing start instead of rolling, what an idiot. Sorry for wasting everyone's time :'(

Qualified great with a new PB with 5 seconds left to put me 4th on the grid. However, I wasn't expecting a standing start so hadn't practiced one. Put full revs on and expected to just slam it into 1st gear to go. Of course it wouldn't go into gear when the lights went green, so then you have to wait for revs to drop, by which time already been piled into cause I was stationary. Sorry, guess my fault as I was the numpty not getting the car moving and a total waste of an evening for half the field. Not done a standing start with the new clutch model so clearly didn't know how to do it, but going to blame Pops for not selecting the right start type.
