Naughty of me to suggest, but could we include 2 drop scores for this series cause of this start debacle? Don't shoot me, just asking.

Which bit of "best 7" in a 9 race championhsip are you struggling with? Wink Tongue

Oh, thought it was only 1 dropped score for some reason. Perhaps 3 then? Grin Wink

I think we shouldn't really fuss about this, it's just like a mechanical brakedown in real life races. Smiley

I had a feeling the likes of Brendan, Mike, Shark and Gizmo were sandbagging in practise on racing fuel.
I ran most of practice on race fuel as I hadn't done a lot of laps together and T6 is a nightmare for me (the sharp left up the hill to the corkscrew) so I needed confidence building.  I did 1 lap on qually fuel at the end before getting a 20.4 in Q.  I probably had some time left to find there, but I wasn't going to find it in the time available.

I think this should count as an extra drop for those that were affected by the start procedure.

The guys that got a decent result shouldn't be penalised and those that got caught in the carnage deserve another chance.

Again, sorry for the mistake, it won't happen again....

Are you joking?
You only need to see my average finish position to understand I'm not overly concerned about the championsship.... but I don't see how adding a dropped score mid season can be done with out penalising the guys who got a decent result?

I understand you feel bad for making the mistake over the race start Pops, but that's just one of those things. Forgive yourself mate Smiley

I must admit I'm puzzled by what you mean, Pops. All you could do is increase the number of dropped scores for everyone from 2 to 3, but I don't see any basis for it since the whole point of the dropped scores is to cater for stuff like this.

Seems the extra drop week idea isn't too popular so I'm officially dropping it, case closed.

Sorry about the mistake, thanks for being so understanding guys, i'll do my best to make sure it doesn't happen again.

He's dropping the idea of dropping an extra week. Besides which we haven't done enough weeks yet to have dropped any because there are 4 weeks left so all existing results are your best results until there are enough to drop your worst 2 which won't happen until after the results of the penultimate race are published.
