Did like the track, didn't like the pit stop (hit engine stop and my pit board disappeared, new tyres and repairs = 70 sec pit) Sad got a bit sloppy at the end too hot, too sweaty, put two wheels on the bank out of the first hairpin and rolled it over Embarrassed got going and spun it round again 20 yards up the road so quit out.

                                                                   Cheers Ade

Preluk never pulls any punches and unfortunately like so many others I made a mistake that ended violently. Even so I had a good time while it lasted as Preluk can be very fun when your in a very good rhythm. I thought I was in one...  Guess not Embarrassed I hope to make some more races with you fellas in the near future Wink Cheers

I was having a good time for the 1st couple of laps chasing Manteos, and keeping out of trouble
Went slightly wide out of a corner and up the bank we went, rolled, got smacked into by chasing cars
red -2% health, no health packs lying around so quit.

I have had it before where a new driver for that series appears and it won't generate results
last night it complained about who Navin was, and what an E-Type and one Corvette type was.
I did the drivers and cars things but it still would not play, and admins able to have a go?
I uploaded the replay anyway, as people might want it.

Hi guys!

This track was pretty cool, but at the same time, I never turned on it before Wednesday evening, when I did 2 laps offline (your server wasn' t onilne that night  :'() just to know a bit the corners. Fortunately, I had no much troubles to learn the circuit, so after 20 crashes at the first hairpin in 10 minutes, I really started to love the track when I realized that with the Z06 you have to brake early!!
First laps with Mike and Clive were great, our cars were always in a few centimeters, and the first lap even Matt was trying to attack me in this long cars train! When Clive did a slight mistake me and Mike took immediately advantage of it and after the overtake, Mike started to go really fast for my still poor knowledge of this track, and I started to keep his pace only after some laps seasoned by some mistakes... My chase to Mike has finished in the same way of ade... At the first corner, with my car twisting on the kerb... so race over Sad.

It's a pity, because it's a funny track even turning alone, but it's a bit challenging with this kind of cars to be concentrated for 1h without making any mistakes. I guess that probably some of you are right, maybe a shorter race without pits here would have been better. Regarding the 60's and 70's tracks, in many cases they are as beautiful as hazardous, and I guess these cars need extreme caution in every circumstance on these older tracks without escape roots!

Only an opinion for the next champ. I know that here, apart from me, Giuseppe, Clive, ade, Matt and sometimes few others of you use to train for a race. It's difficult to finish a race like that of yesterday even if you're trained, and I guess that most of championship races, should be done on some "popular tracks", to give the chance to everybody to be at the same level for the knowledge of the tracks, and have more people seeing the checkered flag... In the last 2 races, of 24-25 attendant, only 6 has seen the checkered flag, and I guess that it's something wrong for a fun event!
For this kind of cars there are more appropriated tracks like Riverside Can Am or Road America, Road Atlanta, Long Beach '79, Sebring etc etc. As I've seen in Bathurst it's really difficult to stay in row with these cars in a so close track, because at the first mistake who is behind you has no chances to avoid you.
However thanks to Mike for allowing me to get to know this track! See you for the next! Bye bye!

This race would not have been such a disaster for me if it had been part of the season.  Had it counted for something then I would have done some practice and discovered where my pit crew were hiding in advance.

I’m doing the Gamers Crib races on Tuesdays and most of my practice time, such as it is, goes to those races; especially when Thursday’s race is at a place that I haven’t even heard of.

The circuit is a picture.  I don’t think that I have any need of a holiday on the Adriatic after last night.

The circuit is good for rushing around on your own.  As a race track I think it sucks.

My plan was to circulate safely in splendid isolation and get to the finish.  Then I went and did a last minute good lap in qually and found myself up the sharp end.

If I had managed to take the first hairpin in a decent manner then I would probably have taken the lead as everyone out braked themselves and scuffed around the barrier on the outside.  Giuseppe hustled me into the hairpin and then I was able to retake him on the way out.  But I was getting a lot of attention from Mike and his followers, which was not in the game plane.

When I made a mistake and Mike got alongside I did not fight to keep the position and as a result lost three places instead.

I was happy enough running between Manteos and Navin but when I started to sort my pit stop out on XD I suddenly had Fulvio all over me.  Where did he come from?

This gave me more damage to stop the pit crew from attacking and by the time that I had hidden all their spanners I was well adrift.

Not being able to find the pit crew was a tad annoying and then to find that I couldn’t switch the engine off was the last straw.

So that was a fun race was it?

Mike is demonstrating great flare in showing how challenging PnG can be.  I just don’t seem to be up to it without a bit more time to prepare.

Another early bath for me. This season is by far the worst ive had in P&G for results  :'( Unfortunately the constant new tracks and/or new cars to learn is just whittling the field down to a bare minimum as people like myself just havent got the spare time to learn or master a new circuit each week, yet alone sometimes a new car on it too, so they either dont show up or retire early in the race.  Sad

Ive always advocated using some new circuits but we seem to have gone to the extreme recently and we need to bring P&G back into more of a comfort zone before we have nobody turning up. I think people want to concentrate on the fun of racing rather than learning new combos all the time. Personally, i think a season of regular well known race tracks with a good spread of GT cars would work better and entice better numbers, then we could have a few stand out special event tracks every now and then.

2 races in two weeks with less than a handful finishing kind of tells its own story.  Undecided  Just my own 2 cents.

I hope that next week's race is a little less challenging as I have already had to spend my Friday night practice spot at Brno.

I would have preferred to start my preparations for Thursday as I just cannot sort out learning the track, sorting the car, establishing a pit strategy, getting my lap times down to respectability and finding my pit crew all in the hour and a half that I have free on a Wednesday night.

PS  Brno is nice.   Roll Eyes

Hello guys, the race was not very good because of the numerous withdrawals.

The track was beautiful but also difficult and full of pitfalls, as others have said maybe having more fun would be better to choose larger and well-known tracks.

I would like to apologize to Clive for having pushed out the T2, I'm sorry but I missed the braking point and I came along ... sorry again.

Greetings to all  Grin

Not a problem Giuseppe.  I had already missed my braking point also.  I think that if I had braked correctly I could probably have taken the lead as we were all scuffing around in the straw bales.
