Would help if they finally binned GTL then at least those racers would join in the P&G events for their classics racing fix but seems they still like their slightly arcadey racing

Are you going to take that lying down Mr Wiltshire?  Cheesy

I'm a bit tired of GTR and P&G and their tracks and their bugs and whatsoever...
I was running in 3rd, spun on the back straight, no arm done (rejoin track in 3 or 4 seconds), back on track in 2nd or 3rd because Marco spun in front of me aswell, when I began to see blue flags when Marco was behind me... Roll Eyes had a look at XD, just to see that everyone was one lap in front of me, rubish!
So, a guy that spuns into the grass where is a checkpoint will loose a lap, ridiculous...over and out and 10-4.

Just spent 30 mins banging in laps... 1:29.7 Roll Eyes
I can tell it's an awful lap, so untidy... but I just can't get on top of this 914 no
Would have tried for longer but  yawn

Err, I guess I better take all that back then  oops

Was still struggling massively in Praccy & had managed a mid-high 1:29...

Took about 20 clicks of tyre pressure out of every tyre, Ade gave me a tip on TS about easing off the accelerator just before corner entry to get the back end out & then nailing it... Undecided

Managed to qual with a 1:26 & fluked a 1:25 in the race! Shocked Shocked Shocked

Was a bit fortunate to finish 2nd, I drove very nicely for me but I think it was other peoples mistakes that did it. But I guess that's the nature of this track, it bites.

thats an odd bug PR, unlucky mate.

B'ah was looking forward to this, for the first race in about 4 where i could have a good race. Great cars for a series these like i said  Smiley
Qually went well, was 2nd most of the session behind Mike then two italians dropped me back to 4th late in the sesh. Was still pleased with that behind those 4 alien types  Smiley

All went wrong on lap 1 of the race. Stupidly double shifted somehow into 2nd and got bogged down off the line, getting swamped by about 4-5 others getting by  taz  but thought all not lost, tuck in behind Ade and Legz for a good scrap. But alas, about half way round, first legz got out of shape, moved over to the left, then Ade lost it and drifted across my bow forcing me to lift and the car did the same as his and drifted off onto the slippery grass. The car span and was a bugger to get back in a straight line losing me 13 seconds to the field  :'(
But i didnt give up as knew i had good pace here and an undamaged car, so drove like a loon getting low 26 laps but losing 3-4 secs behind each backmarker i caught.
Just as i caught up with Ade and Goldtop squabbling ahead of me, blinking Prib decided to quit out and the 'left game message' flashed up just as i was about to turn in the fast right hander....aarrrgh !!! went off on the bloody grass again  taz but this time smashed my suspension and bodywork and a bit of steering  :'(
Nearly caught Manteos after he had an off but he got his rhythm back and i finished in cruddy 9th  no

Should have had a 40min battle but turned into catch up hotlapping for me...i demand a rematch  Wink

Well done podys and Legzy for showing some uncanny amazing pace  Grin

Results and replay are posted.

I really enjoyed the track and car. This track is very cool in my books. The high speed turns are real nail biters. At least there's an airfield out there to save your bacon if you get it wrong. Once I figured out that very quick right hander with the dip at the apex (brooklands I think), I gained nearly a second off my previous best time. I was able to bump off the limitter at 135 mph down that back straight.

We start a quick GT series next week at Road Atlanta. Hope to see you all there.

Maybe the worst race I've never done in my life!
I knew this track cause I ran on it in a GC race, but din't turned at all on it with the 914 and after 2 laps I begin to make a lot of mistakes, trying to follow Mike's pace without success. At lap 3 I broke my suspention at the first corner, and the car was even more difficult to drive in the right corners. So after 7-8 places lost I finished my race with a chase to goldtop, finished with an overtake at the last chicane at the last lap.

For the next one I have to train a bit more!

Cu at Road atlanta!

A good race for me, quite happy to finish 5th. I was struggling with the 914 here, just could not get it to work as well as it did last time we raced them (Oran Park). I couldn't manage to dial out the chronic understeer in the fast corners & also never had time to get it to handle the kerbs in the chicane which the rest of you seemed to bounce over without any problem.

Gained most of my positions due to others going off & was running 4th for some time but couldn't hold off Clive near the end. Nearly threw it all away on the last lap at Church & only some great driving from Ade prevented me from taking him out when I got very sideways  Roll Eyes.

Congrats to Mike, Legzy & Clive.  clap clap clap
